Zelens Emulsion D Fortifying Moisturiser Review

In today’s review, I want to talk about the Zelens Emulsion D Fortifying Moisturiser, which has been an absolute lifesaver for my skin this winter. Without further ado, let’s take a look at this product.

The formula contains a blend of ceramides and Vitamin F (a complex composed of polyunsaturated essential free fatty acids) that helps to restore and reinforce the lipid barrier while reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL). It also includes a blend of phospholipids, glycolipids, and yeast, which moisturise, repair, and protect the skin.

Additionally, a blend of glycerin, trehalose, and panthenyl triacetate hydrates and softens the skin. A blend of probiotics and prebiotics supports the skin microbiome while moisturising the skin. A blend of emollients, fatty acids, soybean sterols, and lecithin softens the skin and provides moisture, while ornithine strengthens the skin and increases fatty tissue volume. Shiso extract and panthenyl triacetate soothe the skin, while provitamin D3 reinforces the skin barrier function and supports its natural recovery.

The Zelens Emulsion D Fortifying Moisturiser has a very lightweight texture. It quickly absorbs onto the skin, leaving it feeling silky smooth without being heavy or sticky. The product’s scent is slightly off due to the Vitamin D in the formula, but it’s very subtle.

My skin is combination and thin, with a tendency to break out in warmer weather and around my period. I often find that moisturisers can be too heavy and break me out. The Zelens Emulsion D Fortifying Moisturiser hydrates my skin perfectly, reduces redness, and prevents dryness. It doesn’t peel or break me out. For me, it’s been a lifesaver during the colder months.
