Rhode Review September 2026
I’m back with another rhode review, and today I’m talking about the rhode Summer ’26 collection, including the long-awaited Pocket Bronze, Highlight Milk, and the Pocket Blush in Teacup.
rhode Pocket Bronze in Pebble
rhode Pocket Bronze in Pebble – an on-the-go cream bronzer with a hydrating, buildable formula in the lightest shade, made for fair to light skin tones with a neutral rosy undertone. Hailey had been teasing the bronzer since late 2024, with fans regularly asking when it would finally launch. The hype clearly paid off, as the Summer ’26 launch brought in a record $27 million in sales in a single day.
I think it’s a great bronzer, and I reach for it quite a lot. The formula is super smooth, blends really well, and doesn’t go patchy. I usually apply it with a brush for a softer, more natural finish, but it blends out easily with my fingers too. It’s quite pigmented, but you can easily sheer it out or build it up depending on the look you want. I was worried it might pull too orange on me, but it actually looks really natural and doesn’t look orange on my skin at all. Like most cream products, it doesn’t last long on my combination skin, so I usually set it with a little powder or use a setting spray.

rhode Pocket Blush Cream Blush in Teacup
rhode Pocket Blush Cream Blush in Teacup – the brand’s cream blush in a raspberry pink shade. I actually used to have Teacup in my collection, but unfortunately left it at a hotel during my summer holiday. I was so gutted that I decided to pick it up again.
This blush is honestly amazing. It goes on smoothly and blends like a dream, whether you use your fingers, a brush, or a sponge. It’s nicely pigmented too, so a little goes a long way. The formula feels lightweight and comfortable to wear, giving my cheeks a lovely, natural-looking flush. The only downside is the staying power, as it starts to fade after a few hours on my skin, although layering it with a setting powder or a setting spray does help it last longer.

rhode Highlight Milk in Pearly Pink
rhode Highlight Milk in Pearly Pink – a hybrid luminiser that enhances bare skin and makeup with a shimmery, naturally radiant finish, made with the brand’s signature Glazing Milk formula. Like the original, it’s formulated with skin-barrier-fortifying ceramides, cholesterol, phytosphingosine, mineral complex, glycerin, fatty acids, and vitamin E.
The Highlight Milk is probably the most natural-looking luminiser or glow mixer I’ve tried. The formula is really lightweight and doesn’t feel thick or greasy at all. It’s perfect for that effortless, lit-from-within glow and genuinely makes the skin shine, but in a good way.
There are a few different ways you can use the Highlight Milk, so it’s worth playing around with it to see what works best for you. You can wear it on bare skin, mix it with moisturiser, or add it to foundation. I’m currently obsessed with mixing it into my moisturiser on no-makeup days. I also like adding it to my foundation, as it can make a matte base look more glowy or sheer out a full-coverage foundation, giving the skin a naturally radiant finish rather than looking glittery. I also sometimes mix a little with the compact blush on the back of my hand to give my cheeks a bit more glow. It looks amazing either way.
