VIRTUE Full Shampoo and Conditioner Review
I’m here with another review, and this time it’s all about VIRTUE Full Shampoo and Conditioner. The Virtue’s Full line aims to boost volume and thickness in hair, leaving it looking fuller and healthier. I absolutely love this duo, and I can honestly notice the difference in how my hair looks. Let me share my experience with you today.
VIRTUE Full Shampoo
VIRTUE Full Shampoo – a lightweight daily shampoo with a gentle sulphate-free, colour-safe formula that adds volume and density to the hair while cleansing it. The shampoo helps to lift the roots and thicken strands for a weightless, long-lasting body. It lathers well, and you only need a quarter-sized amount or less, so it lasts a long time, which is great considering its price.
VIRTUE Full Shampoo has a mild, fresh, citrusy scent that I found to be quite pleasant. This shampoo pairs nicely with other conditioners, for example, Virtue’s Recovery conditioner for damaged hair.
The formula contains Alpha Keratin 60ku®, a protein nearly identical to that naturally found in our hair, skin, and nails. It strengthens and repairs hair from the inside out. The formula also includes gentle surfactants, alongside detangling and conditioning agents, as well as glycerin and panthenol. Furthermore, hydrolyzed baobab extract is added to increase hair strength and elasticity, while gotu kola cell culture contributes to nourishing the scalp and hair follicles, promoting healthy hair growth.
I have thin, blonde hair and I’m happy with this shampoo. Often, volumising products are too harsh and drying, but this one is a pleasant exception – it’s gentle yet still noticeably effective. After using it, my hair feels cleaner for a longer period, and it’s soft and refreshed. The shampoo hydrates without weighing my hair down, providing some nice volume. My hair styles beautifully and with ease when I use this shampoo.
I have a sensitive scalp, and VIRTUE Full Shampoo causes no irritation or discomfort.
VIRTUE Full Conditioner
VIRTUE Full Conditioner – a lightweight conditioner that helps build volume, giving hair a healthier look. It effectively moisturises and smooths the hair without weighing it down. Like the shampoo, you do not need to use much product, a little goes a long way. And it has the same revitalising citrus fragrance.
The product’s formula, featuring Alpha Keratin 60ku®, Virtue’s exclusive protein that strengthens and repairs hair from the inside out, includes a blend of detangling and conditioning agents, silicone-based polymers such as dimethicone, along with panthenol, glycerin, and oils from sunflower seeds, tigernuts, and olives.
Additionally, the formula contains a blend of biotin, hydrolyzed quinoa, hydrolyzed lupine protein, and amaranth extract, all contributing to the hair’s improved elasticity, smoothness, and shine. It also contains rice bran extract, artichoke extract, grapefruit extract, and hydrolyzed baobab extract, aimed at strengthening the hair to reduce breakage and split ends. Saw palmetto extract, madecassoside, asiaticoside, and rosmarinus extract are included for their beneficial effects on scalp and hair health, promoting hair growth and strengthening the hair. The formula is further enhanced with Crodasone™ P, offering additional protection against damage from everyday hair styling practices such as blow-drying, combing, and styling.
VIRTUE Full Conditioner has a thick consistency that nourishes every hair strand, yet it rinses out easily. This leaves my hair feeling instantly silkier, softer, and smoother and also makes it easier to detangle and manage.
I’m a long-time Virtue fan, and like most of the brand’s products, VIRTUE Full Shampoo and Conditioner work great for my hair. The only thing that stops me from buying it more often is its price, but I do believe it’s worth the investment to treat myself every once in a while.
