September 2026 Beauty Haul

It’s time for my September beauty haul! This month, I’ve got a lovely mix of skincare and makeup, along with some of my favourite scented candles to get me into the festive spirit, plus an advent calendar to count down to Christmas.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Brush II – a limited-edition double-ended brush with two versatile brush heads for flawless makeup application. I was absolutely tempted by this year’s designs and decided to go for the Love brush with the little heart.

Yepoda The Depuff Eyespresso* – eye patches infused with caffeine, green tea, aloe vera, and calendula, designed to depuff and rejuvenate the under-eye area. I really like these patches. They instantly hydrate my under-eye area and make me look more awake.

Yepoda The Porefect Pad* – multipurpose toner pads that exfoliate, hydrate, and refine the skin in one step. The pads are lovely too. They’re not too harsh but still effective. My skin always looks smoother and glowier after using them.

Yepoda The Skinject Effect* – an essence designed to boost skin regeneration, improve elasticity, and refine skin texture. It’s formulated with plant-based PDRN and kimchi-derived exosomes to even out skin tone and help the rest of your skincare absorb better.

Sunday Riley Auto Correct Eye Cream* – an eye cream designed to brighten and visibly firm the delicate eye area for a more lifted look. I’ve used this before and really like it. It goes on easily and sinks in well, leaving my under-eye area looking less puffy, smoother, and brighter.

Sunday Riley Blue Moon Clean Rinse Cleansing Balm* – a hydrating cleansing balm formulated with blue tansy and German chamomile essential oils. It’s designed to remove makeup and impurities with a sugar-based cleanser while helping to calm and soothe dry skin.

Marc Jacobs Joystick Blush Stick in Cherry Tease* – a multi-use lip and cheek balm in a deep blue-red shade. This is a beautiful addition to my Marc Jacobs makeup collection. I love how easy it is to work with. It blends really well and is easy to build up. I wasn’t sure about the shade at first, but it can be applied quite subtly, so I ended up loving it.

Marc Jacobs Heart On Shine Lipstick in Mutuals Only* – a moisturising lipstick in a deep warm brown shade. I absolutely love this lipstick and its packaging! It feels balmy and nourishing, and it’s nicely pigmented too.

Marc Jacobs Born Star Cream-to-Powder Eyeshadow in Spicy* – a metallic eyeshadow in a copper shade. It has a soft, buttery texture that blends easily and lasts all day without creasing. I love the formula, but unfortunately, the shade doesn’t really suit my fair skin tone.

Marc Jacobs Panoramic Volume Mascara in Cocoa* – a lash-defining mascara in a chocolate brown shade that adds volume and length, with up to 18 hours of smudge-proof, flake-free wear. It’s a great mascara, and I actually reach for it quite a lot. You can read my more detailed review of the latest additions to my Marc Jacobs collection here.

PATRICK TA Major Sculpt Shape & Shade Anywhere Artistry Stick in Spotlight and Structure – a precision sculpting stick designed to shape, define, and enhance your favourite features for natural-looking dimension. This is a new launch from one of my favourite makeup brands, so I picked these up as soon as they became available. The formula is lovely and very creamy, and the colours are gorgeous. I definitely want to pick up more shades now.

Lush Moominvalley Perfume – a limited-edition Lush × Moomin perfume with notes of cotton, bergamot, lavender, vanilla, and sandalwood. I loved the Moomins as a child, and the stories were some of my favourites, so when I saw this, I just couldn’t resist picking it up.

Then I Met You Snail Mucin Eye Cream* – a plumping and firming eye cream with 5% Volufiline, 30% snail mucin, and 1% caffeine to help improve firmness, brightness, and smoothness in the delicate under-eye area. I’ve tried a few eye creams over the past few months, and this is by far my favourite. It leaves my under-eye area feeling soft and smooth, and looking noticeably brighter and more refreshed.

Then I Met You Birch Milk Refining Toner* – a face toner formulated with 86% birch juice to gently exfoliate and hydrate the skin. It contains a blend of lactic acid, glycolic acid, and gluconolactone, which work to remove dead skin cells, refine skin texture, and brighten the complexion.

Dear, Klairs Sheet Mask Midnight Blue Calming Sheet Mask Bundle Set – a bundle of sheet masks enriched with glycerin, erythritol, betaine, allantoin, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, centella asiatica extract, and arginine. I really like these masks. They leave my skin feeling calm and nicely hydrated.

Ole Henriksen B5 Boost Hydrating Solid Foaming Gentle Cleanser* – a new solid cleanser with a bouncy texture that transforms into a luxurious lather to gently cleanse away daily makeup while strengthening skin’s moisture barrier. It looks and feels almost like a cleansing balm at first, but foams up well once you add water. It easily removes my makeup and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft, without feeling tight or stripped.

rhode Highlight Milk in Pearly Pink* – a hybrid luminiser that enhances bare skin and makeup with a shimmery, naturally luminous finish. It blends beautifully and melts into my makeup, giving my skin a fresh, natural, lit-from-within look that isn’t too glittery or overly metallic.

rhode Pocket Bronze in Pebble* – a cream bronzer that delivers hydrating, buildable colour that blends seamlessly and stays all day. I’ve been really looking forward to trying rhode’s new bronzer, and so far I’m impressed. It’s incredibly easy to work with, and the formula is absolutely gorgeous.

rhode Pocket Blush Cream Blush in Teacup* – a cream blush in a raspberry pink shade. I absolutely love the formula. It applies beautifully, blends effortlessly, and looks so gorgeous on my skin.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Blur Loose Powder – an ultrafine powder in Brightening Pink that delivers a blurring, airbrushed effect while setting makeup and controlling oil and shine. The packaging is so beautiful! It comes in a jar with an amazingly soft, heart-shaped powder puff. The powder has a soft matte finish that keeps shine under control while still feeling lightweight on the skin.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Blush Blur – a silky-smooth blush in Naughty Talk, a soft rose beige shade, and Pillow Talk Medium, a deep burnt rose shade. Powered by Airtech for a blurred, filtered effect, the formula blends beautifully and has a soft matte finish that really helps blur and smooth the appearance of texture without looking flat or powdery.

Allies of Skin Vitamin C & Omegas Cleansing Balm – a cleansing balm formulated with safflower oil, sea buckthorn oil, blueberry seed oil, acai oil, raspberry oil, squalene, grapeseed oil, and vitamins C and E. 

Allies of Skin Rhassoul & BHA Antioxidants Purifying Mask* – a purifying clay mask with BHA and AHA exfoliating acids. This is a great mask that does its job really well without drying out my skin.

Space NK Shimmering Spice Scented Candle – one of my favourite Christmas candles with a unique, cosy cinnamon, cedar, and allspice scent.

D.S. & DURGA Portable Xmas Tree Candle – a Christmas candle with notes of pine, holly, cubeb, and clove.

Living Proof Style Refresh Mist – a lightweight hair mist designed to refresh and revive blow-dries, smooth frizz and flyaways, add softness and shine, neutralise odours, and provide heat protection. This is the best style refresher I’ve ever used. It takes only a few sprays and a quick brush-through to remove any kinks or dents left by hair ties or sleep.

Fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish* – a body scrub with brown sugar crystals and a blend of nourishing oils designed to gently buff away dry skin cells while softening and moisturising the skin. I also received a nice set of Fresh minis as a gift with purchase from Lookfantastic.

BORNTOSTANDOUT Nanatopia – a fragrance featuring top notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, and rum, heart notes of banana bread, and melted caramel, and base notes of tonka bean, cypriol and Orcanox. I have a soft spot for anything banana-scented, so I really enjoy this one.

Anua K-Pop Demon Hunters Vita Brightening Ceramide Barrier Collagen Mask – a pack of 4 sheet masks designed to help firm and illuminate skin for a smooth, radiant-looking complexion. I haven’t tried these yet, but I usually like face masks from this brand.

Juliette Has A Gun Banana Rush Eau De Parfum – a new fragrance with top notes of maple syrup and banana, heart notes of coconut and frangipani, and base notes of vanilla and sandalwood. Honestly, this one’s not for me. It opens like maple banana bread, but I don’t like how it dries down.

VT PDRN Air Cloud Sunscreen – a new sunscreen infused with plant-derived wild ginseng PDRN, a hyaluronic acid complex, panthenol, ectoin, niacinamide, goldenrod extract, buddleja extract, camellia seed extract, clove extract, and adenosine. This one looks really interesting, and I’m looking forward to trying it.

Uni Rain Body Serum* – a lightweight body serum that provides lasting hydration while helping to brighten, tone, and smooth the skin. The formula is enriched with glycerin, aloe vera leaf juice, panthenol, and lightweight emollients, alongside bladderwrack extract, red macroalgae extract, Kakadu plum, neem flower and leaf extracts, lime fruit extract, and sea water. This is such a lovely serum. I use it daily after a shower, and it leaves my skin feeling smooth, soft, and hydrated.

Uni Gentle Exfoliating Body Wash* – a hydrating body wash that cleanses without stripping the skin of vital moisture. Powered by glycerin, antioxidant-rich oils, kelp extract, red and brown algae, niacinamide, and plant-derived squalane, the formula is packed with humectants to deeply hydrate and replenish the skin.

Koba Skincare Milk It Body Lotion* – a silky body lotion enriched with shea butter, baobab seed oil, olive oil, jojoba seed oil, sunflower seed oil, safou oil, glycerin, niacinamide, allantoin, and vitamin C to help moisturise and replenish the skin while reducing moisture loss.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day (PhD) Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo – my favourite dry shampoo that refreshes hair between washes. I picked up a travel size for my trip.

Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Complexion Touch – a foundation with encapsulated pigment micro-droplets that burst as you blend them into the skin, leaving a fresh, radiant finish. It applies smoothly, blends easily, and feels light and hydrating on the skin. You only need a small amount, as one or two pumps are enough for the face and neck. I love how it evens out my complexion without feeling heavy. It also lasts well and still looks good at the end of the day.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Deluxe in Taupe – an ultra-slim, retractable eyebrow pencil that is designed to add definition and hair-like detail to the eyebrow.

Ole Henriksen Peach Glaze Glow 2% Niacinamide Cleanser – a gentle facial cleanser with niacinamide and peach juice that helps reduce the appearance of pores and dark spots while providing antioxidant protection. It feels very gentle on the skin and leaves it clean, fresh, and soft without any dryness. And it smells absolutely divine.

Armani Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 – an advent calendar I picked up to open one drawer a day in the run-up to Christmas this year. I remember a few of the products inside, but not every single one, so there should still be a few surprises.
