Cult Beauty The Reset & Restore Kit Review
I’m back with a quick review of the Cult Beauty The Reset & Restore Kit, worth over £130 and featuring eight products. I’ll take you through what’s inside and show you what I bought to qualify for the gift.
L’Occitane Almond Body Cream (20ml, Travel Size) – a hydrating body cream with the brand’s signature almond scent. I’m a big fan of the L’Occitane Almond Collection, and I’ve repurchased this body cream many times. I love how it makes my skin feel soft and hydrated, with a nice, healthy glow.
Sunday Riley C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum (5ml, Deluxe Size) – a face serum with 15% vitamin C (THD ascorbate) that helps reduce the appearance of dullness, brighten dark spots, target signs of ageing, and minimise the look of pores. This is another product I know very well and absolutely love. It really makes a difference to my skin, leaving it looking brighter and healthier, with a lovely glow. It also helps even out my skin tone.
Nécessaire The Body Wash Eucalyptus (30ml, Travel Size) – a daily multivitamin body cleanser with notes of eucalyptus, lavender, and ginger. I love scented body washes, and I’ve wanted to try this one for a while.
Allies of Skin Peptides & Antioxidants Advanced Firming Daily Treatment (20ml, Travel Size) – a daily moisturiser enriched with multiple peptides, 7 brighteners, 8 antioxidants, and a 3% teprenone complex. This moisturiser has a lovely, velvety texture that feels really nice on the skin. It makes my skin look brighter and more hydrated, leaving it with a lovely, healthy-looking glow. The only thing I’m not keen on is the slightly odd smell.
Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Moisturiser (7.5ml, Deluxe Size) – a face cream designed to hydrate the skin and help protect it against moisture loss. The formula contains hyaluronic acid, glycerin, sodium PCA, cholesterol, black elderberry extract, and olive leaf extract. Given all the positive reviews, I’m looking forward to trying it.
Manifesto Beauty Gummies, 5-day supply (Travel Size) – cherry-flavoured gummy supplements designed to support healthy hair, skin, and nails. The formula contains astaxanthin, biotin, inulin, and acai berries. These gummies are so tasty that it’s hard to stick to just two a day.
OSKIA Universal Hyaluronic Acid Serum (15ml, Travel Size) – a multi-use hyaluronic acid serum formulated with triple-weight hyaluronic acid, betaine, MSM, panthenol, arginine, camellia japonica extract, and hydrolysed gardenia florida extract. This is a lovely, lightweight hydrating serum. I really like OSKIA products, and this serum is no exception.
Grown Alchemist Resurfacing Body Cleanser (50ml, Travel Size) – an exfoliating body wash formulated with a blend of glycolic, lactic, and salicylic acids to help remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and smooth rough, bumpy skin, including skin affected by keratosis pilaris.
And here’s what I bought to qualify for the goody bag:
- Lanolips 101 Ointment Multi-Balm Butterscotch Cookie – a multitasking lanolin balm designed to hydrate dry, chapped lips, cuticles, skin patches, elbows, and other dry spots. I’ve been using Lanolips for years and absolutely swear by their lip balms. They’re one of those products I always have on hand.
- Hair Gain Gummies Duo – gummy hair supplements containing a blend of vitamins and minerals to support normal hair growth and help maintain healthy hair.
- Fugazzi Vanilla Haze Body Wash – a fragranced body wash inspired by the brand’s Vanilla Haze perfume, with notes of vanilla, coconut milk, hazelnut, and caramel.
- Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Exfoliating Toner – an exfoliating toner formulated with 2% salicylic acid to help unclog pores, remove dead skin cells, reduce blackheads, and improve skin texture. It’s an absolute must-have for my skin, and I genuinely think it’s one of the best salicylic acid exfoliants on the market.
