Medik8 Exo-PDRN Prismatic+ Serum Review
In today’s review, I’m sharing my thoughts on the Medik8 Exosome-PDRN Prismatic+ Serum, which contains a high concentration of pomegranate-derived, centella-derived, and postbiotic exosomes, with up to 151 billion per bottle. It’s designed to support the skin’s natural rejuvenation and promote a healthier-looking complexion.
The formula contains PDRN with a tetrahedral structure, which is claimed to provide better absorption and deeper penetration than traditional PDRN. It is marketed to support skin recovery, soothe visible irritation, and improve skin smoothness. Additionally, the Triple Exosome Complex helps support natural skin signalling processes, resilience, and recovery, helping to strengthen the skin barrier and promote a healthier, more radiant-looking complexion. A blend of humectants, including glycerin, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, and amino acids, helps maintain skin hydration.
Also, a blend of niacinamide, centella asiatica leaf extract, panthenol, allantoin, lactobacillus ferment, and calcium pantothenate helps soothe irritation and support skin recovery, while niacinamide also helps support the skin barrier, improve uneven skin tone, regulate excess sebum, and provide antioxidant protection. GF MiniProtein™ (Oligopeptide-1) helps boost collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid levels, thereby improving the appearance of skin structure over time. Additionally, a blend of pomegranate extract, centella asiatica extract, laminaria digitata extract, and niacinamide provides antioxidant protection. ATP Precursor (Disodium Adenosine Triphosphate) helps optimise the natural processes involved in visible skin rejuvenation.
The Medik8 Exosome-PDRN Prismatic+ Serum has a watery gel texture that sinks in quickly but leaves my skin slightly damp for a little while. It feels a bit sticky at first, but that disappears within a couple of minutes. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or irritated, and it works well under makeup with no pilling. I’d say the texture is pretty similar to Medik8 Liquid Peptides.
I’ve been using this serum in my nighttime routine, and my skin definitely feels more hydrated and looks naturally glowy. I haven’t seen a huge difference, but my skin does look healthier overall, more even and less red.
The Medik8 Exosome-PDRN Prismatic+ Serum is a nice product, but it didn’t completely win me over. It feels lovely on the skin, but I didn’t notice any dramatic changes.
