SKIN 1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum Review

SKIN 1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum Review

I’m here with another review, and today, I want to discuss the SKIN 1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum, a lightweight chemical sunscreen. Let’s take a closer look at this product and find out whether it’s worth trying or not.

SKIN 1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum

SKIN 1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum uses new generation filters: diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate (Uvinul A Plus, for UVA protection), Ethylhexyl Triazone (Uvinyl T150, with high photo-stable UVB absorption), methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol (Tinosorb M, offering broad-spectrum protection), and diethylhexyl butamido triazone (Uvasorb HEB, protecting against UVB and UVA II rays).

The formula also includes a blend of hyaluronic acid, adenosine, niacinamide, inositol, broccoli extract, Japanese white birch extract, wheat extract, alfalfa extract, arugula extract, and centella asiatica extract to strengthen the skin’s barrier, soothe, and retain moisture. Additionally, ginkgo biloba extract, green tea extract, and camellia japonica extract help protect the skin from environmental stressors.

Although it’s called a serum, it has the texture of a light, watery cream that spreads easily and absorbs quickly. It feels sheer and airy on the skin without feeling greasy. There’s some tackiness after application, but it disappears within a minute once it sets. It doesn’t leave a white cast. Even though it claims to provide a dewy finish, I found it to be more on the slightly shiny side. So if you’re looking for a truly matte effect, this might not be the best option for you.

The sunscreen doesn’t have the sunscreen smell and has no scent at all, which I find to be a plus.

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50 PA++++ comes in a tube with an airless pump dispenser. The pump makes it easy to apply without any mess.

I’m quite picky about the sunscreen I use on my face because I can’t stand the oily or sticky feeling that some leave behind. My skin is combination and thin, prone to breakouts in warmer weather and around my period. I avoid thick or heavy formulas, opting for lightweight ones to prevent clogging. This one doesn’t irritate my skin, doesn’t break me out, and works well for my combination skin.

It’s comfortable to wear and works well under makeup. I usually give it a bit of time to absorb before applying my makeup, and it doesn’t cause any pilling.

I used SKIN 1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum this summer, even on days with much more sun and heat exposure than usual, and I didn’t get burnt at all.

In the picture above, you can see the SPF products I picked up to try this spring and summer. Overall, I’m happy with the SKIN 1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum, and I found it to be a really nice sunscreen that feels comfortable on the skin and does its job well.
