Dr. Barbara Sturm Enzyme Cleanser Review
In today’s post, I’m reviewing the Dr. Barbara Sturm Enzyme Cleanser, which has been my favourite enzyme cleanser for years. I’m already on my fourth bottle, so I think that says quite a lot about how much I like it. I’ll definitely keep repurchasing it, and here’s why.
The Dr. Barbara Sturm Enzyme Cleanser is a very fine powder that lathers into a thick, creamy foam when you add water. It actually lathers much better than other enzyme cleansers I’ve tried. You only need a small amount each time, and I only use it once or twice a week, so it lasts for ages. For instance, one bottle lasts me nearly a year and a half, which makes the price a bit easier to justify.
I don’t say this often, but this product is a real game changer for my combination skin. It leaves my skin feeling clean, baby-smooth, and glowing, without ever leaving it dry, tight, or stripped, unlike some other enzyme powders I’ve tried. It also never irritates my skin, and it helps reduce the look of blackheads.
Overall, I like everything about the Dr. Barbara Sturm Enzyme Cleanser. It’s quite pricey, so I usually buy it when it’s on sale. Sometimes I also pick up the Darker Skin Tones version, which works just as well for my fair skin.
