Does anyone have any idea at all roughly how many units there are or if there is a cap on quantity per order for fairness? I’m 12,230 on the app and it’s dropped by nearly 1000 so far

I got mine just before the queue opened, when you have it on waitlist, and refresh the page, you have a split second when “add to cart” appeared in solid yellow.

I was just lucky, I guess.

No idea, sadly. I only bought one, and I thought I was pushing my luck with how I got it, I didn’t want to take the proverbial to see how many one could buy before they realised there was a glitch on the site.

I do hope there is a limit, and plenty of stock to go around. I know some stores have all of their stock reserved. However, I remember the queue for the main beauty calendar was also bonkers, but there was enough to go around for a few days.

So please, try and stay optimistic, I hope all of you lovelies get one x

I managed to get one @ 9.01 but could only buy one I only really wanted one for my partner the other was going to be a gift for my son, I am happy I was lucky enough to ger the one.

Gutted, I was looking at the calendar from quite early on in case they did early release, I don’t know how I ended up being 44, 301 in queue… gutted now sold out. I will keep checking. The annoying thing is I realised that when looking at my wish list the add to basket came up for split second and added it to bag.. by time I went to pay was out of stock.. I actually tried the wish list thing when I realised the number I was in at queue however the add to bag never came up then otherwise I’d have managed to get it. Sooo annoying. I hope they restock soon 🤞🏼 x

It was £225 – I am not surprised that demand was so high, especially at that price point, and the disappointment at Space NK not doing a fragrance offering this year, people have headed towards this.

Oh is that definite that Space NK are not doing a fragrance one? There’s did hang around for a long time last year and had to be discounted to get rid of final units!

I went in store at King’s Cross about 3 weeks ago, and the chap said he wasn’t sure if there was going to be one.

I certainly hope there is, as it’s been an absolute banger every year, and IIRC, doesn’t drop until Mid Octoberish?

I just looked on eBay uk. People are actually selling their preorders .. some are asking as much as £567.70! Didn’t Selfriges limited the checkout number to just one..? These people must have bought only to resell!

They have been selling preorders on their for weeks/since the day of release details. The Harvey Nichols pre-orders were also on there. Even when Harvey Nichols was possibly not even going to be released? I don’t get how it’s done, but it’s a thing. It’s personal beauty & fragrance for some and wherever there is a potential buyer/customer it’s business and potential profit for others.

The Harvey Nicks ones are now up on their site, but compared to last year, I am a bit disappointed with it, I am left feeling a bit underwhelmed with this year’s offering.

Hopefully Harvey Nicks comes back with a stronger offering once their Frasers Group takeover settles down.

Simply disgraceful. I was one of the many who didn’t manage to get one and watching that makes my blood boil. I think as many of us as possible should contact Selfridges linking that video and asking them to take action. I’ve already done so via Instagram and email, now doing it via live chat too.

I hope his brag about getting 80 is true.

Why?

There’s a restock promised, maybe the small initial amount is to test the waters. Who is going to pay over the odds on a product that is going to be restocked? I wouldn’t. I would wait on a restock, call the store and reserve one.

If he had any sense, he would cancel those orders, or else he is sitting on a load of expensive calendars he won’t be able to shift.

I also saw that the perfumes are in custom cut-outs in the drawers.

They aren’t boxed.

That’s going to be a PITA for resellers who want to sell the individual scents for a profit 🤭

Yes there is an image on one of the eBay listings showing the bottles inside the drawers – in cut outs – no boxes – also means if you buy it for yourself you can’t gift any of it – works for me 😉
