Medik8 Press & Clear Review
Today, I’m sharing my thoughts on the Medik8 Press & Clear, an exfoliating 2% BHA tonic with gentle-release salicylic acid for a clearer, brighter-looking complexion. Without further ado, let’s delve into the details and find out if it’s worth the investment.
The formula contains encapsulated 2% salicylic acid (BHA), an oil-soluble exfoliant that penetrates deep into the pores to clear blockages and reduce congestion. It also includes 2% tranexamic acid to visibly improve uneven skin tone and minimise the appearance of post-blemish marks and dark spots. Additionally, a blend of sake extract and aloe extract hydrates and soothes the skin.
The Medik8 Press & Clear has a subtle, funny smell. Personally, I don’t mind it, but I can’t call it a pleasant easer. The texture of the tonic is lightweight and watery. It doesn’t feel sticky or greasy and doesn’t dry out my skin.
For reference, my skin is combination and typically breaks out during warmer months and around my period. Medik8 Press & Clear helps with breakouts without drying out my skin. I notice that spots clear up more quickly, and post-blemish marks fade faster. It also leaves my skin looking clearer and more even. I can see a difference in my pores around my T-zone and blackheads when I use this.
The Medik8 Press & Clear can be used in both morning and evening routines, but the brand suggests new users start with once-daily use to check their skin’s response. I use this tonic a few times a week, once a day, and usually wait 20 minutes before applying my serum and cream.
To sum up, the Medik8 Press & Clear met my expectations, and I found it to be a gentle yet effective tonic. I also really like the idea of a refillable bottle, which helps reduce plastic waste.

😍 Really nice toner. It has helped clear up blemishes and isn’t super drying. Prefer this than paula’s choice.
