Augustinus Bader The Rich Eye Cream Review
Welcome back to another review. Today, I’m talking about the Augustinus Bader Rich Eye Cream, a luxurious eye cream that promises to deeply nourish, firm, de-puff, and smooth fine lines and wrinkles. Here’s how I got on with it
The formula contains a blend of humectants, including glycerin, hyaluronic acid, sodium lactate, alanyl glutamine, and arginine, to help maintain skin hydration. A blend of emollients, including meadowfoam seed oil, jojoba seed oil, sesame seed oil, Sisymbrium irio seed oil, and hydrogenated lecithin, helps soften and smooth the skin and reduce moisture loss. TFC8® (Trigger Factor Complex 8) is a patented blend of natural amino acids and vitamins that works at a cellular level to support the skin’s natural regeneration process.
Green tea extract, ganoderma lucidum extract, and gentiana lutea root extract help soothe the skin, while green tea leaf extract, olive leaf extract, ganoderma lucidum extract, gentiana lutea root extract, and vitamin E provide antioxidant protection. Additionally, peptides (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7) help improve the appearance of fine lines and skin firmness.
The Augustinus Bader Rich Eye Cream has a gorgeous, rich texture that feels really luxurious on the skin. It absorbs well without feeling overly heavy or greasy and sits beautifully under makeup with no pilling. A little goes a long way too, which is great considering the price.
I used this last year. It’s a lovely eye cream that gives my eye area an instant boost of moisture and feels really comfortable on the skin, but I can’t say it made any noticeable difference. Overall, it’s a pretty average eye cream and, given the price, definitely not a must-have for me.
I know the brand has a lot of fans, and I can see why people rate The Rich Eye Cream. I don’t think it’s a bad product by any means, but for me, it just isn’t a standout. I’m not sure even a big discount would tempt me.

I find my eyes look worse when I use it. Far more crepey. I’ve tried a few times and gave it a really good go for a month and then I had to give up my eyes looked awful. They’re looking better now, switched to the Shiseido from Harrods advent, no not worth the money, but it’s not having the same effect. Some really rate it though
