The formula contains ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate (also known as octinoxate, which helps protect the skin against UVB rays), ethylhexyl salicylate (also known as octisalate, which provides UVB protection), butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane (also known as avobenzone, which protects the skin against UVA rays), and octocrylene (which provides protection against UVB and some UVA II rays while helping to stabilise avobenzone).
Also, a blend of humectants, including glycerin, hyaluronic acid, and aloe extract, helps maintain skin hydration. Additionally, a blend of emollients and skin-conditioning ingredients, including camellia oleifera seed oil, rosehip oil, and shea butter, helps soften and condition the skin. You can wear it on its own as a sunscreen or use it as an SPF primer under makeup. My makeup goes on smoothly over it and sits really well on top. It keeps my skin hydrated without making it look shiny or greasy, and it doesn’t pill.
I absolutely love how it perfects my skin, giving it a silky, glowy, soft-focus finish. I find it a little too heavy for my combination skin in summer, but it feels lovely to wear in autumn. I’m not sure I’d recommend it to anyone with very oily skin, but for everyone else, especially those with normal or dry skin, it’s a fantastic product.
