Living Proof Perfect Hair Day (PhD) Dry Shampoo Review
This time, I want to share my thoughts on the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day (PhD) Dry Shampoo, which is one of my favourites right now. Dry shampoo has become a staple in my hair care routine, and I’ve tried a lot of them, but this one is definitely one of the best on the market. With that said, let’s explore what makes it stand out.
The formula contains a blend of rice starch, zeolite, and cellulose to absorb excess sweat and oil, using a powder removal system that reduces particle adhesion and any visible residue. It also contains a time-release fragrance and odour neutralisers to keep hair smelling fresh all day.
Using the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day (PhD) Dry Shampoo is just like using any other dry shampoo. First, shake the can well. Then, apply it section by section, holding the can 6-10″ away from dry hair, focusing on the oily or dirty areas. Wait 30 seconds to let the product set, then gently massage any lingering powder into the scalp with your fingers. After that, brush through your hair. Personally, I find it works even better if I let it set for 60 seconds before brushing it out.
I’ve been using Living Proof Perfect Hair Day (PhD) Dry Shampoo for years, and it has been a game-changer for me. Using it once allows me to go at least another day or two without washing my hair. It effectively cleans and volumises my fine hair without leaving any sticky residue or visible white powder. It also doesn’t feel heavy and doesn’t leave my hair stiff or dull. The only downside is the price, I just wish it weren’t so expensive. That’s why I always keep an eye out for good deals.
Overall, I absolutely enjoy using the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day (PhD) Dry Shampoo and can’t recommend it enough. I love everything about this dry shampoo and always make sure to keep it stocked in my stash.

Hi Mary, thanks for the recommendation. I’ll definitely try it. I’m using a dry shampoo from Amika, and it leaves quite a bit of white residue in my hair 🙁
