PHLUR Father Figure Deodorant Review
This time, I’m reviewing the PHLUR Father Figure Deodorant, an aluminium-free deodorant featuring one of my favourite scents from the brand. I was really excited to try it, and here are my thoughts.
The formula contains BHA (salicylic acid), which helps neutralise odour-causing bacteria and may improve the look of underarm discolouration. Saccharomyces ferment and zinc ricinoleate also help neutralise odour, while arrowroot powder absorbs excess moisture and sweat. A blend of glycerin, coconut oil, shea butter, and tamanu oil helps soften and moisturise the skin, while ascophyllum nodosum extract and laminaria digitata extract provide antioxidant protection.
As I’ve mentioned on my blog before, I’m slightly obsessed with PHLUR fragrances, and Father Figure has easily earned a spot among my favourites from the brand. It’s a clean, green fragrance that features top notes of waterlily, fig, and cassis, heart notes of orris root, iris, and jasmine, and base notes of skin musk, Madagascar vanilla, patchouli leaf, and sandalwood. The deodorant carries that same beautiful scent, but in a much softer way. It sits close to the skin and doesn’t compete with your fragrance. It just complements it.
The PHLUR Father Figure Deodorant has a really creamy texture that glides on easily and feels super comfortable on the skin. It’s not greasy or sticky, but it doesn’t feel dry or chalky either. The formula is gentle, and I haven’t had any irritation at all. My underarms stay soft with no itching or rashes.
It works really well for everyday wear. I tend to reach for it on regular, non-workout days, and it keeps me feeling fresh without any issues. That said, on hot or busy days when I need extra protection, I just switch to an antiperspirant.
All in all, I’ve had a great experience with the PHLUR Father Figure Deodorant, and I can definitely recommend it to anyone who loves this fragrance.
