LANEIGE Happy Water-Full Holiday Set Review
I’m back with a review of the LANEIGE Happy Water-Full Holiday Set. Having previously used a couple of products from the Water Bank range that pleased me, this purchase wasn’t a leap in the dark for me. However, some of them were new, and I believe it’s a great chance to give you my brief review of all four of them together. Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that the set can be purchased at Lookfantastic with a 21% discount by using the promo code BEAUTYDETECTIVE or LF20.
LANEIGE Waterbank Blue Hyaluronic Eye Cream
LANEIGE Waterbank Blue Hyaluronic Eye Cream is an eye cream that firms, hydrates, and soothes the skin while relieving puffiness. This cream contains glycerin, niacinamide, caffeine, acerola extract, acai extract, coconut oil, hyaluronic acid, beta-glucan, glucose, fatty acids, glutathione, and wakame extract to smooth the skin and improve elasticity around the eyes.
I’ve purchased a full-size of this cream before, and it’s been my daytime eye cream for quite some time. I can say it’s a really lovely product, and I enjoy using it.
LANEIGE Waterbank Blue Hyaluronic Eye Cream has a lightweight texture that quickly melts into the skin and provides good hydration without leaving a greasy feel. Additionally, it sits well under makeup and doesn’t peel, which is a huge plus for me.
LANEIGE Waterbank Blue Hyaluronic Revitalising Toner
LANEIGE Waterbank Blue Hyaluronic Revitalising Toner is a toner that hydrates the skin, that preps the skin for better absorption of other skincare products. The product contains a blend of panthenol, hyaluronic acid, beta-glucan, wakame extract, and probiotics, designed to soothe and provide hydration to the skin.
I enjoy using this toner as it feels more moisturising and hydrating than typical watery toners, being a bit thicker in consistency. I apply it with a cotton pad before serum and moisturiser, and it absorbs excellently, leaving my skin feeling hydrated and plump without a sticky feeling.
This toner seems to really boost the skin’s hydration, making it a great addition to my winter routine for my skin. Additionally, the product didn’t cause any breakouts, suiting my combination skin perfectly.
LANEIGE Waterbank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturiser
LANEIGE Waterbank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturiser is a moisturiser that effectively firms the skin, reinforces its moisture barrier, and leaves it feeling soft and smooth. Inside the formula, you’ll find squalane, allantoin, hyaluronic acid, beta-glucan, probiotics, fatty acids, wakame extract, ceramides, and glycerin, ingredients that collectively provide additional hydration and nourishment.
Having tried this cream before, I found its formula to be light yet incredibly moisturising. This Laneige moisturiser sinks beautifully into the skin, providing rapid hydration and leaving the skin feeling well-hydrated, plump, and wonderfully bouncy. Additionally, its scent is pleasantly neutral.
I enjoyed using it as a night cream for my combination skin during the winter months last year. However, I don’t believe it would be sufficient for those with dry skin in winter.
LANEIGE Waterbank Blue Hyaluronic Cleansing Foam
LANEIGE Waterbank Blue Hyaluronic Cleansing Foam is a foam cleanser that effectively cleanses skin and gently exfoliates the skin. It contains glycerin, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, papain enzyme, cellulose capsules, mint extract, goji berry extract, raspberry extract, blueberry extract, coffee seed extract, cranberry extract, strawberry extract, cloudberry extract, and wakame extract.
The LANEIGE Happy Water-Full Holiday Set provides a great opportunity to explore LANEIGE’s Water Bank line, and I’m pleased with my purchase of this set. I like three out of the four products from this set (except the cleansing foam), and I plan to discover this line further. The next product I’m going to try and review will be the Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Gel Moisturiser, which I recently purchased.
