Harvey Nichols 12 Days of Fragrance Advent Calendar 2025 Review

In today’s review, I’d like to talk about the Harvey Nichols 12 Days of Fragrance Advent Calendar 2025 (worth over £700). It contains a selection of 20 fragrances, which I’ll showcase below. Without further ado, let’s see what’s inside.

In the first window, we have 2 fragrances:

D.S. & DURGA Holy Ficus Car Fragrance (worth £15.00) – an auto fragrance with top notes of cardamom and frankincense, heart notes of fig and cedar, and base notes of ginger root and saffron. I really like this scent. I’ve had the Holy Ficus Candle before, and it was the best fig candle I’ve tried.
D.S. & DURGA Debaser Eau de Parfum Pocket Perfume (10ml, worth £75.00) – a rollerball perfume with top notes of green leaves, pear and bergamot, middle notes of coconut milk and iris, and base notes of white wood, tonka bean and moss. It smells amazing. I find the combination of fig and coconut really lovely.

Creed Aventus Eau de Parfum (10ml) – a rich fragrance that opens with citrusy notes of bergamot, lemon, and blackcurrant with a hint of pink pepper, moves into pineapple, jasmine, and patchouli, and settles into a woody base of birch, ambroxan, cedarwood, oakmoss, and musk. My husband loves this fragrance, but its longevity is a real issue.

In the next window, we have 2 fragrances:

Fragrance Du Bois Lucius Extrait de Parfum (7.5ml) – a fragrance with top notes of pink pepper, bergamot and mandarin, middle notes of cedarwood and orange blossom, and base notes of amber and tonka bean.
Fragrance Du Bois Sirene Extrait de Parfum (7.5ml) – a fragrance with top notes of cherry and pepper, middle notes of oud, incense and lactonic accords, and base notes of moss, benzoin, cistus, labdanum and cypriol. Unfortunately, the calendar I was gifted by Harvey Nichols didn’t contain this one.

Xerjoff Torino 21 Eau de Parfum (15ml) – a fragrance with top notes of mint, lemon, basil, and thyme, middle notes of blackcurrant, rosemary, lavender, and jasmine, and base notes of musk and vervain. I really love this scent. It is a very refreshing, summery, minty fragrance with a strong mojito vibe (to me, it is similar to Etat Libre d’Orange You Or Someone Like You but with better longevity).

In the next window, we have 2 fragrances again:

Escentric Molecule Molecule 01 Eau de Toilette (8.5ml) – a fragrance that features the sole note of the Iso Super E aroma molecule. It adapts to your skin chemistry, offering a subtle, fresh scent that works well on its own or layered with other fragrances.
EX NIHILO Spiky Muse Eau de Parfum (7.5ml) – a fresh yet rich fragrance with fruity and woody notes. The top notes are bergamot, pink pepper and strawberry, the middle notes are rose and pistachio, and the base notes are akigalawood, ambrofix, cedarwood and tonka bean. This one is a 2025 release, and I was very interested in trying it. I’ve wanted to try it since its release at the beginning of the year, so I’m happy to see it included in the Advent calendar.

Hermetica Verticaloud Eau de Parfum (5ml) – a woody fragrance with agarwood (oud), raspberry, leather, rose, saffron and powdery notes.
Memo Madurai Eau de Parfum (5ml) – a fragrance with notes of jasmine sambac, Indian jasmine, Egyptian jasmine, peach, marigold, Indian tuberose, turmeric, Australian sandalwood, suede, clary sage, and Sicilian bergamot. It is a beautiful floral scent with lush white flowers and enough peach for a perfect balance.

In the next window, we have 2 fragrances:

Kilian Roses on Ice Eau de Parfum (7.5ml) – a fragrance with top notes of cucumber, juniper berries, lime, violet leaf, and pink pepper, middle notes of rose and ozonic notes, and base notes of musk, sandalwood, ambroxan, and cedar. It is a boozy, rose-aquatic scent. I’m not a big fan of rosy fragrances, but this might be the best rose fragrance I have ever tried.
Frederic Malle Carnal Flower Eau de Parfum (7ml) – a fragrance with top notes of eucalyptus, melon, bergamot, and galbanum, middle notes of coconut, tuberose, jasmine, orange blossom, and ylang-ylang, and base notes of white musk, animal notes, and amber.

Trudon Ernesto Candle (70g, worth £40.00) – a scented candle with head notes of bergamot, grapefruit and rum, heart notes of oak wood, clove, labdanum and patchouli, and base notes of tobacco, amber, leather and moss. I always enjoy finding candles in Advent calendars, though this one may not be for everyone. It has a rich, heavy scent with notes of tobacco and spices.

In the next window, we have 2 fragrances:

Gritti Mango Aoud Extrait de Parfum (9ml) – a tropical fragrance with top notes of passionfruit, mango, black tea and ginger, middle notes of black pepper and gurjan balsam, and base notes of agarwood and cypriol. This scent is super lovely and fresh, and it reminds me a lot of the Oud Maracuja.
Atkinsons 24 Old Bond Street Cologne (5ml) – a fragrance with top notes of juniper and cardamom, middle notes of whiskey and rose, and base notes of black tea, cedar, ambergris and musk.

In the next window, we have 3 fragrances:

Fugazzi PASSIONFROUDH Extrait de Parfum (8ml) – a tropical fragrance with top notes of passionfruit, mango, black tea and ginger, middle notes of black pepper and gurjan balsam, and base notes of agarwood and cypriol. This scent is super lovely and fresh, and it reminds me a lot of the Oud Maracuja.
Malin + Goetz Dark Rum Perfume Oil (7ml, worth £34.00) – a fragrance with top notes of plum and bergamot, middle notes of leather and rum, and base notes of amber, milk, and patchouli. I love this scent – it is zesty, fruity, and sweet enough to keep you warm through the cold autumn months.
Granado Tropicalia EDP (10ml) – a fragrance with top notes of black pepper, pink pepper, and mandarin, middle notes of pistachio, carrot, and iris, and base notes of tonka bean, frankincense, and amber. It is a very interesting and creative scent – fresh, with carrot notes blended with pistachio.

Matière Première Vanilla Powder Eau de Parfum (6ml, worth £38.00) – a fragrance with top notes of coconut powder and heliotrope, a heart of Madagascar vanilla, and a base of vanilla absolute, white musk, musk, palo santo, lactones, and coconut. This is a warm, strong fragrance with great longevity.

Parfums de Marly Delina Eau de Parfum (10ml) – a fragrance with top notes of litchi, rhubarb, bergamot, and nutmeg, middle notes of Turkish rose, peony, musk, petalia, and vanilla, and base notes of cashmeran, incense, cedar, and Haitian vetiver.
