Glow Recipe Pomegranate Peptide Firming Serum Review
Here’s my honest review of the Glow Recipe Pomegranate Peptide Firming Serum. This serum is designed to smooth, hydrate, and firm the skin while helping to minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Now, let me share my thoughts and whether it’s lived up to my expectations.
The formula contains a blend of humectants such as glycerin, pomegranate fruit extract, hyaluronic acid, elastin, glucomannan, and green algae extract to boost hydration and soften the skin. Additionally, a blend of squalane, pomegranate seed oil, cotton seed oil, and linseed seed oil helps prevent water loss and soften the skin, while a blend of pomegranate extract and milk thistle extract soothes the skin.
A blend of pomegranate fruit extract, tocopherol, milk thistle extract, bidens pilosa extract, green algae extract, and engelhardia extract provides antioxidant protection. Additionally, a blend of peptides (copper tripeptide-1 and sr-hydrozoan polypeptide-1) supports collagen and elastin production, enhances skin elasticity, and minimises fine lines.
The serum has a lightweight, milky texture that sinks into the skin quickly without feeling sticky or greasy. It applies smoothly and doesn’t pill when layered with other products. Also, it has a subtle pomegranate scent, which I find really pleasant.
I used the Glow Recipe Pomegranate Peptide Firming Serum mostly in my night routine. It left my skin feeling smooth, soft, plump, and hydrated, and it also made my skin look dewy. I have to say, it felt very nice on the skin and provided good hydration, at least for my combination skin, but I wouldn’t call it super hydrating. It may not be the best for extremely dry skin in colder months.
All in all, I’ve really enjoyed using the Glow Recipe Pomegranate Peptide Firming Serum. It does its job well, so I’ll definitely repurchase it.
