Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF50+ PA++++ Review
In today’s review, I want to talk about the Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF50+ PA++++. I’m always on the lookout for a good SPF, and this was one of the products I picked to test this spring. I must admit that it definitely met my expectations, so let’s delve into the details.
Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF50 uses new-generation filters: diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate (also known as Uvinul A Plus, which protects the skin against UVA rays), ethylhexyl triazone (also known as Uvinul T 150, which provides one of the highest levels of photo-stable absorption among UVB filters), methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol (also known as Tinosorb M, which offers broad-spectrum protection), and diethylhexyl butamido triazone (Uvasorb HEB, which protects against UVB and UVA II rays).
The formula also contains a blend of niacinamide, birch juice, adenosine, hyaluronic acid, allantoin, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, purslane extract, sweet wormwood extract, and Roman chamomile flower oil to moisturise, soothe, reduce inflammation, and calm the skin.
Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF50+ offers a lightweight, lotion-like texture that absorbs easily and layers well without feeling greasy or sticky. If your skin is on the oilier side, it could work well as a moisturiser, particularly in the summer. It also doesn’t leave a white cast. It doesn’t have any particular smell.
This sunscreen has a dewy finish that loses some of its dewiness as it settles into the skin, though it never fully dries matte. I usually apply a mattifying powder on my T-zone to help reduce the shine.
For reference, I have a combination skin, which tends to break out in warmer weather or around my period. The Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturising Sunscreen SPF50+ didn’t cause me any breakouts, irritation or any other skin reaction. However, birch juice can cause allergic reactions in some people, so it’s a good idea to patch test before use.
I would say it’s comfortable to wear and sits well underneath makeup, and it doesn’t pill.
To sum it up, I’m genuinely impressed with the Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF50+ PA++++. It has quickly become one of my favourite sunscreens. I definitely recommend giving it a try and plan to repurchase it myself.
