Purito Wonder Releaf Centella Daily Sun Lotion SPF 50 Review
Welcome to my new blog post! Today, I’m reviewing the Purito Wonder Releaf Centella Daily Sun Lotion SPF 50. I’ll share my experience with this product and whether it met my expectations.
The formula contains ethylhexyl triazone (also known as Uvinul T 150, which provides one of the highest levels of photo-stable absorption among UVB filters), terephthalylidene dicamphor sulfonic acid (also known as Mexoryl SX, which protects the skin against UVA rays), diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate (also known as Uvinul A Plus, which protects the skin against UVA rays), bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine (also known as Tinosorb S, which covers the whole UVB and UVA range), and polysilicone-15 (also known as Parsol SLX, which helps protect the skin against UVB rays).
It also contains hyaluronic acid in eight different forms to help the skin retain moisture. Additionally, a blend of panthenol, adenosine, allantoin, niacinamide, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, centella asiatica extract, and ecklonia cava extract works to hydrate, soothe the skin, and provide antioxidant protection.
The Purito Wonder Releaf Centella Daily Sun Lotion SPF 50 has a lightweight, lotion-like texture. It feels very moisturising and could work as a moisturiser if your skin is on the oilier side, particularly in warmer months. The product doesn’t feel heavy or greasy and leaves no white cast. Also, it has no noticeable smell, which is definitely a plus for me.
This sunscreen leaves a slightly glowy finish. To be honest, it can appear a bit too shiny on my combination skin, so I often use a mattifying powder on my T-zone to tone down the shine. If you’re looking for a matte effect, this might not be the best pick for you. I’d say it’s a great option for those with dry or normal skin, but it could feel a touch too hydrating and shiny for those with oily or combination skin, particularly during the summer months.
The Purito Wonder Releaf Centella Daily Sun Lotion SPF 50 performs quite well under makeup and doesn’t pill. It takes a few minutes (about 5–10) to sink in properly, but once it does, it leaves no sticky feeling on the skin.
For reference, I have combination skin that usually breaks out during warmer months and around my period. This product doesn’t cause any breakouts, and it never irritates my skin or stings my eyes.
The Purito Wonder Releaf Centella Daily Sun Lotion SPF 50 has its pros and cons, but overall, I found it to be a good product, and I’m glad I gave it a go. In the photo above, you can see some other sunscreens I’ve picked up to test this year, so stay tuned for more SPF reviews from me in the future.
