In today’s review, I want to talk about Olaplex No. 4C Bond Maintenance Deep Clean Clarifying Shampoo, and I have to say, it’s one of the best clarifying shampoos I’ve ever used. With that said, let’s explore what makes it stand out.

The formula contains a blend of sulphate-free surfactants to cleanse effectively without stripping the hair or scalp. It removes buildup, excess oil, hard water minerals, chlorine, even heavy metals and pollutants. The formula also includes a blend of amino acids, panthenol, and sodium lactate to soften and condition the hair, while Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate (the main patented ingredient in Olaplex) helps to repair broken bonds for stronger hair.

The product lathers up really well into a luxurious foam. For the best results, instructions suggest leaving it on for about 5 minutes. Similar to other clarifying shampoos, it can be used once a week or every two weeks, depending on how often you shampoo, your scalp type, and your styling habits.

I’ve been using Olaplex No. 4C Bond Maintenance Deep Clean Clarifying Shampoo for a couple of years now. I have fine hair that gets greasy very quickly, and I love using this to reset my hair when I get a buildup. It leaves my hair light and airy while giving my scalp a fresh, clean feeling. As with any clarifying shampoo, I always follow it with a hair mask.

A little goes a long way, and I use this once every one to two weeks to give my scalp a reset.
