Lookfantastic Beauty Box January 2025 Review
Hi everyone! In this post, I’ll share a brief review of the Lookfantastic Beauty Box for January 2025. The January box features 6 products worth over £50. Let’s go through its contents together, exploring each item. If you’re thinking about subscribing, don’t forget to use my promo code BDBB to get a 20% discount.
Sun Bum SPF 30 Sunscreen Lip Balm in Coconut (4.25g, worth £4.99 Full Size) – a lip balm designed to help protect, moisturise, and soften the lips. The formula is enriched with argan oil, cacao seed butter, pomegranate extract, calendula extract, aloe extract, sage extract, cucumber extract, horsetail extract, green tea extract, ginseng extract, Ginkgo biloba extract, giant kelp extract, and bisabolol. I love SPF lip balms, so I’m saving it for the summer.
Dr. Pawpaw Hydrating Face Mist (50ml, worth £12.50) – a hydrating face mist formulated with hyaluronic acid, glycerin, niacinamide, neroli flower water, and papaya extract. I love face mists and always use them as layering products.
Philip Kingsley Elasticizer (40ml, worth £12.50) – a pre-shampoo conditioning treatment designed to improve hair’s elasticity, manageability, and shine. This product has been a part of my haircare routine for years, helping to keep my hair smooth and manageable, so I’m always happy to receive it.
Peter Thomas Roth Instant FirmX Eye (5ml, worth £6.93) – an eye treatment that temporarily tightens, firms, and smooths the look of the fine lines, wrinkles, and under-eye puffiness. The formula features peptides (dipeptide-2, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7), argan extract, alfalfa extract, fennel extract, comfrey extract, panthenol, hydrolyzed lupine protein, and HMC (hesperidin methyl chalcone). This product just doesn’t work for me, as it dries out my under-eye area, leaving a visible white residue. It also needs to be applied to dry skin and doesn’t pair well with most water-based makeup, which is a significant drawback.
This Works Perfect Legs Body Butter (30ml, worth £10) – a body butter formulated with shea butter, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, cannabis extract, and oakmoss extract. It’s a nice, thick winter body butter that moisturises and softens my skin very well.
Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm (10g, worth £7) – a nourishing cleanser designed to melt away makeup, daily dirt, and impurities without stripping or drying the skin. The formula contains almond oil, elderberry seed oil, oat oil, wheat germ oil, shea butter, borago oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, grape seed oil, and algae extract. I really enjoy using Elemis cleansing balms and love their beautiful fragrances. They leave my skin feeling clean and soft without drying it out.
