LANEIGE Water Bank Gentle Gel Cleanser Review
In today’s review, we’re taking a closer look at the LANEIGE Water Bank Gentle Gel Cleanser. As someone who loves a good gel cleanser and enjoys LANEIGE Water Bank line, I was excited to try it out. Now, after testing it, I want to share my experience and thoughts on its performance.
The formula contains mild surfactants to gently cleanse the skin without causing dryness. It also includes a blend of glycerin, hyaluronic acid, and panthenol to soften the skin and help prevent dryness. The amino acid complex (including arginine, aspartic acid, and glutamic acid) supports the skin’s barrier.
LANEIGE Water Bank Gentle Gel Cleanser has a milky, smooth texture. The product foams nicely, leaving the skin soft and clean without drying it out or making it feel stripped. Also, it’s fragrance-free and has very little to no scent.
I use LANEIGE Water Bank Gentle Gel Cleanser as the second step in my double-cleansing routine or as a morning cleanser. It feels very gentle on the skin and removes the rest of my makeup without leaving a squeaky feeling. Also, this cleanser works well for removing minimal makeup but not for eye makeup or waterproof makeup.
LANEIGE recommends massaging the product onto dry skin and then emulsifying it with water for makeup removal. Personally, I don’t like using foaming products the same way as cleansing balms because emulsifying them directly on the skin over time can be drying. Instead, I prefer to emulsify a small amount of any foaming product with water in the palm of my hands before gently massaging it onto my skin.
Overall, the LANEIGE Water Bank Gentle Gel Cleanser fully met my expectations. I really enjoy using it and can recommend it to anyone looking for a gentle, non-drying cleanser.
