K18 HAIR Molecular Repair Hair Oil Review
Today I’m sharing my experience with the K18 Hair Molecular Repair Hair Oil, designed to strengthen the hair, repair damage, reduce frizz at different levels of the hair fibre, and boost shine. Let’s see if it’s actually worth trying.
The formula contains the proprietary K18Peptide™, a key ingredient that targets polypeptide chains in the hair and helps reverse damage that causes frizz, promoting strength and smoothness. Additionally, it contains a blend of squalane, avocado oil, sunflower oil, and hemisqualane (C13-15 alkane) to condition, soften, smooth flyaways, and enhance shine.
The K18 Hair Molecular Repair Hair Oil also offers heat protection up to 232°C/450°F and claims to provide up to 24-hour frizz control while helping reduce split ends by up to 78%. It can be applied to both damp and dry hair to smooth split ends and enhance shine and colour.
I have fine, thin hair, and no matter how I use this oil, it weighs my hair down and makes it look really greasy. I’ve tried applying less, using it on damp hair, and using it on dry hair, but I end up with the same result every time. Personally, I find it much heavier than Olaplex No. 7, which works better for my hair type. So, if you have fine, thin hair, I recommend testing it before purchasing.
Unfortunately, the K18 Hair Molecular Repair Hair Oil doesn’t suit my hair type, so I won’t be repurchasing it.
