Dr. Althea Green Tea Fresh Sunscreen Review

Dr. Althea Green Tea Fresh Sunscreen Review

Welcome to my new blog post. Today, I’m here with a brief review of the Dr. Althea Green Tea Fresh Sunscreen. After putting it to the test, I’m ready to share my thoughts with you.

Dr. Althea Green Tea Fresh Sunscreen

The formula contains a blend of ethylhexyl triazone (also known as Uvinul T 150, which provides one of the highest levels of photostable UVB absorption), diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate (Uvinul A Plus, which protects the skin against UVA rays), drometrizole trisiloxane (also known as Mexoryl XL, which provides UVB and UVA protection), and methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol (also known as Tinosorb M, which offers broad-spectrum protection) to deliver strong UVA and UVB coverage. Additionally, a blend of emollients, texture enhancers, skin-conditioning ingredients, and humectants, including glycerin, niacinamide, and saccharomyces ferment, softens and hydrates the skin, creating a silky texture with good spreadability.

Also, a centella asiatica complex (centella extract, leaf extract, and root extract), asiaticoside, madecassoside, asiatic acid, madecassic acid, houttuynia cordata extract, green tea leaf water, adenosine, and niacinamide soothe and calm the skin, while PDRN enhances skin barrier repair. Additionally, a blend of houttuynia cordata extract, centella asiatica complex, green tea leaf water, and vitamin E provides antioxidant protection.

The Dr Althea Green Tea Fresh Sunscreen has a milky, lotion-like texture that feels very lightweight on the skin, without being greasy or oily. It absorbs seamlessly with no residue or white cast. It doesn’t pill and works great under makeup. It also gives a natural-looking finish, not too dewy or too matte. Additionally, it has almost no scent, which I really appreciate.

For context, I have sensitive eyes and combination skin that tends to break out during warmer months and around my period. I had zero issues with this sunscreen. Moreover, I’ve been dealing with some irritation for about a month due to some health-related issues, and this actually helped calm my skin.

Honestly, the Dr. Althea Green Tea Fresh Sunscreen is one of the best sunscreens I’ve tried recently. It checks all the boxes for me, and I’ll definitely repurchase it.

Hey, Masha! Lovely review. I ordered it after your recommendation and can say that it is the best SPF I have ever used. Thanks a lot. ❤️ I have a question for you – how do you reapply your SPF during the day with make up on? I am struggling to find something non greasy on my combination skin.

What sunscreen spray could you recommend? ❤️ I haven’t tried to use any on top of the makeup, would love some good recommendations.
