Dr Dennis Gross Derminfusions Fill and Repair Serum Review
In today’s review, I want to discuss the Dr. Dennis Gross Derminfusions Fill and Repair Serum. This serum claims to firm, hydrate, and plump the skin. Since I’m a fan of many Dr. Dennis Gross products, I’ve decided to give this one a try. With that said, let’s get started and learn more about this product.
The serum includes four types of hyaluronic acid for deep hydration and skin plumping. A complex of four peptides (acetyl hexapeptide-8, palmitoyl tripeptide-1, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7, oligopeptide-2) works to boost collagen and elastin production, leading to firmer, more youthful-looking skin. Niacinamide and ectoin are added to diminish redness and support the skin barrier. The serum also contains a blend of powerful antioxidants, such as green tea extract, white tea extract, kakadu plum extract, grape seed extract, tetrahydrocurcumin, ashwagandha extract, glutathione, and superoxide dismutase, which work together to prevent aging signs and enhance the skin’s glow. Key ingredients like acetyl glutamine, ceramides, phospholipids, sphingolipids, phytosphingosine, and cholesterol are incorporated to reduce inflammation, boost hydration, repair dryness, and maintain a healthy skin barrier.
The serum is further enriched with centella asiatica extract, arnica extract, clove extract, chaga extract, chamomile extract, bakuchiol, colloidal oatmeal, bisabolol, caffeine, sodium PCA, and panthenol.
I’ve been using the Dr. Dennis Gross Derminfusions Fill and Repair Serum every morning for the past couple of months and have found it to be quite enjoyable. The serum has a gel-like consistency that feels lightweight and non-sticky on the skin. It applies smoothly and sinks in quickly. A little goes a long way, as you don’t need much of the product. Personally, two pumps are plenty enough to cover my entire face.
The scent of the serum is a minor drawback for me. It has a light, not overpowering chemical smell that is hard to describe. I can’t call it pleasant. However, the smell fades away quickly, so it doesn’t bother me much.
For reference, my skin is combination and thin with a tendency to break out with the arrival of warmer weather and during my period. The upside was that this serum didn’t break me out. Furthermore, it also works beautifully under makeup, sunscreen, or primer, without causing any pilling.
Although this serum excels in hydration, which I absolutely love, it doesn’t actually work as a filler substitute. My skin does feel more moisturised, but the change isn’t drastically visible. Nonetheless, Dr Dennis Gross Derminfusions Fill and Repair Serum effectively hydrates, leaving my skin feeling plumper and refreshed. Additionally, it has significantly helped with achieving a more even skin tone.
I’m pleased with my decision to try the Dr. Dennis Gross Derminfusions Fill and Repair Serum, and I find it to be a nice addition to my skincare routine. Even though the serum is a bit pricey, I believe it’s well worth the price, as I’ve been able to enjoy and observe the results it delivers.
