Today, I’m sharing my thoughts on the Zelens Power B Revitalising and Clearing Serum, designed to balance oil production, brighten the skin, and even out its appearance. Well, let’s see if it lives up to its promises.
The formula contains an advanced vitamin B complex (B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, B12) to hydrate the skin and support its barrier. Niacinamide helps reduce excess sebum production, brighten, and even out the skin’s appearance, while panthenol hydrates and soothes. A blend of hyaluronic acid, glycerin, adenosine phosphate, saccharide isomerate, and ribose hydrates the skin and restores its elasticity. Additionally, a blend of Biomin® Acquacinque, pomegranate extract, and quinoa seed extract helps combat free radicals and hydrate the skin. A blend of hydrolysed yeast extract, amino acids, guanosine, beta-glucan, phospholipids, glycolipids, prebiotics, and probiotics promotes a healthy microbiome, supports the skin’s barrier, and maintains hydration. Moreover, a blend of aloe extract, oat extract, and rice extract helps soothe and hydrate the skin.
The serum has a lightweight, watery texture that absorbs really well into the skin without leaving any greasy residue. It feels sticky upon application, but that goes away in a couple of minutes.
Zelens Power B Revitalising and Clearing Serum has a medicinal scent that I wouldn’t describe as pleasant. However, it fades very quickly, so it’s not really an issue for me.
Niacinamide has been a staple in my morning routine for years, delivering noticeable results. Zelens Power B Revitalising and Clearing Serum works well to balance my skin and control oil. It also noticeably improves clarity, helps with breakouts, and evens out skin tone. After using it, my skin feels calm, soothed, and well-hydrated.
The last time I received the serum, I noticed a significant difference in its colour. Previously, the product was light pinkish, but this time, it was dark reddish-brown, as you can see in the pictures. Concerned about its expiration date, I reached out to Zelens. According to their representatives and the information on the website, the colour change is natural and occurs over time due to the active ingredients in the formula. They assured me that this doesn’t affect the product’s quality or effectiveness. However, I believe that oxidation may suggest a loss of potency.
I’m currently on my third bottle of the Zelens Power B Revitalising and Clearing Serum, and I absolutely love it. It’s one of those products I’ll definitely repurchase time and time again.
