Hey everyone! In this review, I want to share my thoughts on the This Works Morning Expert Hyaluronic Serum, formulated with 2% hyaluronic acid. Let’s see what this one is all about.
The formula contains 2% hyaluronic acid and glycerin to help lock in moisture and soften the skin. Additionally, a blend of ascorbyl glucoside (a stable form of vitamin C, typically used at 2 to 5%), Persian silk tree extract, and horehound extract provides antioxidant protection and helps improve uneven skin tone and skin brightness.
The This Works Morning Expert Hyaluronic Serum has a watery texture and goes on easily. It doesn’t pill and helps prepare my skin for makeup without feeling oily. On my combination skin, it feels slightly sticky due to the 2% hyaluronic acid, but applying a moisturiser afterwards resolves that issue. Additionally, the serum has a subtle citrusy scent.
The serum leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and plump. While I wouldn’t say it noticeably brightens my complexion, it does provide enough hydration for my combination skin. However, I still like to layer it with something richer during the autumn and winter months for extra moisture. It also doesn’t cause any breakouts, irritation, or redness.
All in all, the This Works Morning Expert Hyaluronic Serum is a nice product I’ve enjoyed using. If you’re considering it, I’d recommend giving it a try.
