Space NK Advent Calendar 2024 Review

Space NK Advent Calendar 2024 Review

Welcome to my new blog post! Today, I’m super excited to share my review of the Space NK Advent Calendar 2024. Hands down, it’s one of the best beauty advent calendars this year, and I’m so happy to get my hands on it! The calendar looks gorgeous and features 35 products worth over £1200. Without further ado, let’s take a look at its contents.

Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62 Mist

Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62 Mist (90ml, worth £24.00 Full Size) – a hair and body fragrance mist with notes of salted caramel, pistachio, and vanilla. I love SDJ perfume mists and already have it in my collection. This mist has a lovely, sweet smell that reminds me of summer and the beach. It is pretty strong and lasts quite well on clothes and hair.

Skin Rocks The Cream Cleanser

Skin Rocks The Cream Cleanser (125ml, worth £32.00 Full Size) – a cream cleanser that nourishes and hydrates the skin. The formula is enriched with jojoba oil, squalane, macadamia seed oil, betaine, sodium PCA, sodium lactate, amino acids, and phytosterols. I’m looking forward to trying this product

K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask

K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask (50ml, worth £70.00 Full Size) – a leave-in treatment mask that repairs hair damage at the molecular level in just 4 minutes. I’m on my third bottle of this product and will be purchasing it again. It has made such a difference to my hair, reducing breakage and leaving it shiny and soft.

Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil in Hope

In the next window, we have two products:

  • Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil in Hope (3ml, worth £20.00 Full Size) – a gel-to-oil lip tint that provides a soft, dewy touch of colour. It lightly plumps and gives a cooling effect, feeling comfortable on the lips with decent staying power. That said, it feels more like a lip tint than an oil.
  • Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm in Brown Sugar (15g, worth £23.00 Full Size) – a lip balm designed to hydrate dry lips while providing a glossy finish. This is my third shade of the balm, and I love it. The Brown Sugar is a really amazing shade, and it smells absolutely delicious. It has fully met my expectations, and I’m happy to find it in the Space NK advent calendar.

Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Intense Moisturising Serum

Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Intense Moisturising Serum (30ml, worth £59.00 Full Size) – an advanced hyaluronic acid serum for an intense hydration boost. The formula features hyaluronic acid, panthenol, antioxidants, and NMFs (sodium PCA, glycerin, urea, proteins, sugars, 15 different amino acids, lactic acid, and creatine). I’m happy to receive it and looking forward to trying this product, as the original Hydr8 B5 serum is one of my favourite hyaluronic acid serums.

Chantecaille Cheek Gelée in Vibrant

In the next window, we have two products:

  • Chantecaille Cheek Gelée in Vibrant (23ml, worth £45.00 Full Size) – a lightweight gel-cream blush that gives a fresh, luminous finish without any shimmer or sparkle. It has a gel texture with good colour payoff, while still feeling light on the skin.
  • Rodial Glass Highlighter (2g) – a lightweight fluid highlighter. I wasn’t expecting much from this product, but it really surprised me. It gives a subtle glow, blends nicely, and looks amazing on the skin.

Supergoop! Glowscreen SPF30

Supergoop! Glowscreen SPF30 (50ml, worth £35.00 Full Size) – a multitasking primer that provides a radiant, dewy finish. While I usually love Supergoop! sunscreens, I’m a bit hesitant about this one as I prefer a matte finish and am concerned it might look greasy on my combination skin.

Laneige Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask

In the next window, we have two products:

  • Laneige Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask (25ml) – an overnight mask that hydrates and firms the skin, enriched with squalane, probiotics, allantoin, adenosine, cholesterol, hydrolyzed collagen, hyaluronic acid, peony extract, and peptides. I really enjoy using this mask, it has a super light texture that absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling hydrated and plump.
  • The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + HA Serum (30ml, worth £15.90 Full Size) – an age-supporting peptide serum featuring postbiotics, hyaluronic acid, allantoin, amino acids, and peptides (SYN™-AKE, Matrixyl™ synthe’6™, Matrixyl™ 3000, ARGIRELOX™ peptide).

Sunday Riley CEO Glow

Sunday Riley CEO Glow (15ml, worth £34.00) – a radiance-boosting face oil. The formula is enriched with vitamin C, raspberry seed oil, jojoba seed oil, cucumber seed oil, pomegranate seed oil, cranberry seed oil, cranberry seed oil, evening primrose seed oil, black current seed oil, bisabolol, zingiber extract, turmeric extract, and neem extract. I’ve tried this product before and found it to be heavy for my combination skin, so I mix it with my hyaluronic serum.

Tatcha Serum Stick

In the next window, we have three products:

  • Tatcha Serum Stick (10ml, worth £49.00 Full Size) – a concentrated treatment balm with 80% squalane, hyaluronic acid, and Japanese lemon balm to target dryness and signs of ageing. The concept is great, allowing you to easily apply it to your face and under your eyes on the go, making it perfect for travel.
  • Sisley Paris Black Rose Cream Mask (10ml) – a hydrating cream mask designed to immediately reduce signs of fatigue and provide a smoother and more youthful look. I love this mask and find it really pleasant to use. The mask has a lovely creamy texture, and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated, soft, and refreshed with a healthy-looking glow.
  • Sisley Paris Velvet Sleeping Mask (10ml) – a soothing face mask that promotes overnight rejuvenation. The formula is enriched with shea butter, cottonseed extract, honey extract, thyme extract, and saffron flower extract. I’m looking forward to trying this product.

Kate Somerville Exfolikate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment

Kate Somerville Exfolikate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment (60ml, worth £69.00 Full Size) – a triple-action exfoliator that combines AHA, BHA, and fruit enzymes for smoother, brighter, and youthful-looking skin. It’s quite a strong exfoliant, and I love how it leaves my skin soft, smooth, and refreshed. It’s worth noting that for those with thin skin, it’s recommended to leave it on for one minute and avoid using it too frequently.

Naturium Vitamin C Serum

Naturium Vitamin C Serum (30ml, worth £22.00 Full Size) – a vitamin C serum designed to brighten skin and defend it from environmental stressors. The formula includes vitamin C (sodium ascorbyl phosphate and ascorbic acid), glutathione, hyaluronic acid, sorbitol, pineapple extract, papaya extract, mango extract, kakadu plum extract, burdekin plum extract, and brown pine extract. The serum looks promising, and I’m looking forward to trying it.

Lisa Eldridge Luxuriously Lucent Lip Colour in Painterly

Lisa Eldridge Luxuriously Lucent Lip Colour in Painterly (3.5g worth £27.00 Full Size) – a satin-finish lipstick in a deep mauvey-chocolate shade. I love this formula from Lisa Eldridge (my favourite shade is Kitten Mischief). It’s sheer, comfortable, and feels really smooth, yet it still has great staying power.

Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil

In the next window, we have three products:

  • Amika Overnight Treatment (30ml) – an overnight hair mask infused with hyaluronic acid, polyglutamic acid, sea buckthorn oil, spirulina extract, chaga extract, Siberian ginseng extract, maral root extract, and coconut water. I was concerned it might leave my fine hair greasy, but it absorbed quickly, and by morning, my hair felt wonderfully soft.
  • Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil (30ml, worth £28.00 Full Size) – a weightless styling oil that boosts shine, softness, and enhances colour vibrancy. It protects against damage, frizz, and heat, leaving hair sleek and healthy-looking. This has been one of my go-to hair oils since I first received it in the Space NK calendar in 2020, and I’ve been repurchasing it ever since. The bottle lasts ages, as you only need a tiny amount, and it leaves my hair frizz-free, soft, and shiny.
  • Hair By Sam McKnight Happy Endings Nourishing Balm (30ml, worth £22.00) – a conditioning and styling treatment with pro-vitamin B5 that helps to defrizz, defluff and define hair. I’ve had a travel size of this product, and it does a great job controlling frizz, but it weighed down my fine hair a bit.

Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant

Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant (118ml, worth £35.00 Full Size) – a gentle, leave-on exfoliant with 2% salicylic acid that unclogs pores and controls oil for clearer skin. I’ve been using this since 2016, and it’s become a staple in my routine. I use it two or three times a week, and it keeps my skin clear and helps unclog pores.

Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Hydrating Face Primer

Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Hydrating Face Primer (45ml, worth £35.00 Full Size) – a gel primer that holds makeup for up to 12 hours. It’s enriched with hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, betaine, sorbitol, hemp seed extract, cactus extract, agave extract, and sweet cherry extract. I love this primer—it creates a tacky, smooth, and hydrating base that grips makeup and keeps it in place all day.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush (1.3g, worth £28.00) – a blush in a soft pink shade. I adore Hourglass blushes, they have an airbrushed finish and apply beautifully. I have this shade, and it’s a gorgeous colour that doesn’t look flat due to the mix of pigment and highlight. It blends effortlessly and lasts well.

Space NK Nordic Wilds Body Wash

In the next window, we have two products:

  • Space NK Nordic Wilds Body Wash (100ml, worth £8.00) – a body wash with black pepper, juniper berry, and tonka bean notes. As a massive fan of scented bath products, I’m pleased to get it. The scent is really nice.
  • Eve Lom Cleanser + cloth (30ml) – a cleansing balm that melts away makeup, daily dirt, and impurities. This cleansing balm isn’t my favourite, but it does its job really well. It removes makeup effectively, and you don’t need a lot.

ILIA Limitless Lash Clean Mascara

In the next window, we have three products:

  • ILIA Limitless Lash Clean Mascara (8g, worth £28.00 Full Size) – a natural mascara that promises to lift, curl, lengthen, and add volume. I love getting new mascaras in beauty boxes and advent calendars, and I’m looking forward to giving it a try.
  • Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon in Pillow Talk (1.6g, worth £23.00 Full Size) – a cream eyeshadow pencil in the shimmering nude-pink shade. I already have this product in the same shade and enjoy using it. This eyeshadow has a lovely creamy formula that applies smoothly, blends easily and lasts well. The shade is absolutely beautiful.
  • KOSAS Air brow in Clear (3.7g, worth £20.00 Full Size) – a clear brow gel that fluffs, lifts, and sets brows perfectly in place. The formula is enriched with hyaluronic acid, panthenol, Ssorbitol, trehalose, and biotinoyl tripeptide-1 to condition and promote fuller, healthier brows. I love this brow gel; it’s simple to use, doesn’t feel crusty, and doesn’t flake off.

Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream

Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream (50ml, worth £58.00 Full Size) – a whipped cream enriched with a triple-ceramide blend and five African oils to provide daily moisture. I’ve been using this cream for years and rely on it as my night cream during the winter months.

Glossier G Suit Soft Touch Matte Liquid Lip Crème in Jet

Glossier G Suit Soft Touch Matte Liquid Lip Crème in Jet (6ml, worth £24.00 Full Size) – a demi-matte lip cream in a bold, blue-red shade. I wanted to love it, but it turned out to be patchy and smudges easily.

Augustinus Bader The Serum

Augustinus Bader The Serum (15ml, worth £145.00) – a hydrating, fast-absorbing serum that targets skin concerns such as dehydration, stress, aging, and loss of elasticity. The formula features TFC8®, Vitamin C, Polysaccharide Moisture Complex, and antioxidants. It’s quite pricey, so I’m thrilled to have received it in the advent calendar.

Color WOW Extra Strength Dream Coat

Color WOW Extra Strength Dream Coat (200ml, worth £32.00 Full Size) – an anti-frizz styling treatment designed to smooth, enhance radiance, and protect hair against humidity. This product is a part of my haircare routine, so I’m definitely happy to receive a full-size bottle in the Space NK advent calendar. It really makes my hair smoother, shinier, and more manageable.

DS&Durga I Don’t Know What Eau de Parfum

DS&Durga I Don’t Know What Eau de Parfum (7.5ml) – a fragrance enhancer with notes of bergamot and vetiver. It can be layered over any perfume to adjust its intensity or worn on its own as a transparent aroma. I’ve tried it alone, and it smells lovely.

Ultra Violette Queen Screen™ SPF 50+

Ultra Violette Queen Screen™ SPF 50+ (50ml, worth £38.00 Full Size) – an ultra-glowy sunscreen serum enriched with Pentavitin®, vitamins, microalga extract, and Kakadu plum extract. While I usually love Ultra Violette products, this one is a bit too glowy and dewy for my liking.
