Naturium Vitamin C Serum Review
I’m back with another review, and this time, I want to talk about the Naturium Vitamin C Serum. After putting it to the test, I’m ready to share my experience and whether it met my expectations.
The formula contains sodium ascorbyl phosphate, a stable, water-soluble derivative, and ascorbic acid to even out skin tone, provide antioxidant protection, brighten the skin, support collagen production, reduce the appearance of post-breakout marks, and boost luminosity.
Additionally, it features glutathione and a bioactive fruit blend (pineapple extract, papaya extract, mango extract, Illawarra plum extract, Burdekin plum extract, and Kakadu plum extract) to provide antioxidant protection and help brighten the skin. A blend of glycerin, hyaluronic acid, beta-glucan, aloe leaf juice, and sorbitol helps to hydrate the skin, while aloe leaf juice and beta-glucan soothe it.
The Naturium Vitamin C Serum has a lightweight watery texture with no noticeable scent. It feels a bit sticky at first, but absorbs quickly into the skin. This serum doesn’t feel greasy and layers well with other products. It doesn’t pill and feels comfortable on the skin.
For reference, I have thin, combination skin that doesn’t usually tolerate L-ascorbic acid serums well. This serum contains SAP, a stable water-soluble form of vitamin C, along with L-ascorbic acid. However, the percentage of L-ascorbic acid doesn’t seem very high, so it doesn’t cause any stinging sensation or irritation for me.
I’ve been using the Naturium Vitamin C Serum for 2 months now, and it has definitely made a difference to my skin by brightening it and giving it a healthy glow. It also helps fade my post-acne dark spots, leaving my skin clearer and smoother. Overall, I’ve found it to be a gentle yet effective serum that feels comfortable on the skin and is pleasant to use.
