Lookfantastic Travel Beauty Edit 2024 Review

Welcome back to another blog post, where I’m going to review the Lookfantastic Travel Beauty Edit 2024. This edit includes 15 travel-friendly products worth over £100. Now, let’s see what’s inside, along with my thoughts on each item.

Beauty Pro Retinol Eye Patch (single mask worth £2) –  an eye patches that help to reduce the appearance of dark circles and smooth under-eye skin texture. The formula is enriched with allantoin, niacinamide, panthenol, aloe extract, coenzyme Q10, tartaric acid, vitamins A, C, and E. I’ve tried these patches before and found them quite nice. Since I use eye patches frequently, receiving them in beauty boxes is always a lovely bonus for me.

Glow Hub Glow Giver Facial Serum (30ml worth £14) – a glow-boosting serum enriched with a blend of lactic acid and glycolic acid. I usually have a bad reaction to products with glycolic acid, so this serum might be too harsh for me, and I’d prefer not to take a risk. Unfortunately, this is a miss for me.

Bondi Sands Sunny Daze SPF 50 Moisturiser (10ml worth £2.50) – a mineral SPF 50 moisturiser enriched with vitamin E, erythritol, hibiscus extract, and sunflower seed oil. Unfortunately, it’s a miss for me. The tint didn’t match my skin tone, and it felt heavy on my skin.

OUAI Melrose Place Body Cleanser (30ml worth £3) – a shower gel enriched with jojoba oil, rosehip oil, hyaluronic acid, and probiotics. I’m excited to try this shower gel because its floral scent is absolutely lovely.

CeraVe Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser (50ml) – a gentle face cleanser enriched with a blend of 3 essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid. I’ve tried this product before and enjoyed using it. The cleanser left my skin feeling clean without stripping it or leaving it squeaky clean.

Youth To The People Superfood Skin Drip Smooth + Glow Barrier Serum (4ml) – a new barrier-boosting serum that provides instant hydration, brightness, and even tone. The formula includes niacinamide (5%), hyaluronic acid, ceramides, postbiotic ferment, bisabolol, adenosine, and a range of extracts such as kale, green tea, chamomile, alfalfa, spinach, dandelion, and broccoli seed oil. Although this product has not yet been released at Lookfantastic, I have been wanting to try this serum since its launch.

Illamasqua Powder Blush(4,5g  worth £23) – a highly-pigmented blusher in shade Katie. It has a smooth texture and blends really well. I found it to be a really lovely shade.

Grow Gorgeous Volume Root Stimulating Primer (60ml worth £9.60) – a root-stimulating primer packed with caffeine, menthol, hyaluronic acid, amino acids, algae extract, hydrolyzed rice protein, allantoin, and biotin. I love how this product refreshes my hair and scalp, boosts volume, and alleviates itching.

Grown Alchemist Age-Repair Intensive Moisturiser (12ml worth £14) – a daily facial moisturiser to intensely hydrate the skin. The formula is enriched with grape seed oil, almond oil, murumuru butter, aloe extract, white tea extract, cranberry extract, parsley seed oil, hyaluronic acid, and oligopeptide-1. The cream has a thick consistency and a lovely scent. However, I’ll save it for winter, as this rich moisturiser is too heavy for my combination skin during the hot summer months.

Lancaster Tan Maximiser After Sun Lotion (15ml worth £3) – a tan-prolonging lotion that instantly calms sun-exposed skin. The formula is enriched with buriti oil, shea butter, bisabolol, caffeine, panthenol, and purple coneflower extract. I’m looking forward to trying this lotion and will take it on my next beach holiday, which I hope will be soon.

Tweezerman Micro Mini Tweezers in Blue (worth £10) – a smaller version of the classic slant tweezer for precise hair removal. They are really small but handy and super cute. I love the colour.

Rituals The Ritual of Karma Shimmering Body Oil (30ml worth £7) – a shimmering body oil with the scent of lotus flower and white tea. It’s a dry oil that moisturises well and leaves a very subtle shimmer, which I like. A little goes a long way, and the shimmer lasts for hours.

Revolution 5D Lash Pow Mascara (12.2ml  worth £9.99) – a mascara that provides both length and volume to the lashes. I was impressed with the results, it made my lashes look longer and fuller.

Kiehl’s Ultra Light Daily UV Defense SPF 50 PA++++ (5ml) – a lightweight facial sunscreen. It contains a blend of UV filters: octinoxate, Mexoryl XL, Mexoryl SX, nano titanium dioxide, Uvinul A Plus, and Tinosorb S. The formula is also enriched with adenosine, arginine, sorbitol, yeast extract, peppermint extract, rose extract, corn kernel extract, Baikal skullcap extract, and Vitamin B6. This sunscreen is quite good. It has a lightweight texture that absorbs well. It isn’t greasy and doesn’t irritate my skin.

Klorane Flax Dry Shampoo (50ml) – a gentle dry shampoo with organic flax that claims to provide 8 hours of weightless volume. Dry shampoo is always handy when I’m short on time, and I use it quite often. So I’m more than happy to receive this product and will definitely give it a try.
