LOOKFANTASTIC Summer of Skin Edit 2023 Review
Today, I’m back with a review of the Lookfantastic Summer of Skin Edit. This edit features a collection of SPF, suncare, and self-tanning products designed to prepare the skin for the upcoming sunny days. The collection includes a total of nine products (worth over £130), with five of them being full-size. So let’s take a closer look.
Vita Liberata Untinted Fabulous Gradual Tanning Lotion (50ml, worth £3.75) – a daily moisturiser that delivers a gradual buildable tan while hydrating and moisturising the skin. This one i really like, actually it’s a one is the nicest gradual tans i have tried. It’s easy to apply, with no streaks and without that funky sunless-tanner smell.
Sol De Janeiro Bom Dia Cream (25ml worth £10.00) – a daily moisturiser that works great for taking care of skin by making it feel really soft. Enriched with coconut oil, cupuaçu butter, mango extract, banana extract, papaya extract, yellow mombin extract, acai extract, and vitamin C. I think it has one of the best smells from the Sol de Janeiro brand. The scent is a fruity, vanilla, gourmand. The lotion is nice and helps to keep the skin moist, but there’s nothing too special about it.
Piz Buin Moisturising Lotion SPF 30 (200ml worth £15.48) – a sunscreen that’s good for people who like to be in the sun and also want to take care of their skin. The best part is it’s not greasy or sticky, so it feels nice to put on. Filters: Octocrylene, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine.
Isle of Paradise HYGLO Hyaluronic Self-Tan Serum for Face (30ml, worth £21.95) – a gradual tanning face serum that can be applied directly to the skin daily for a natural glow. The serum is enriched with hyaluronic acid, chia seed oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, cocoa extract, panthenol, and aloe extract.
NUXE After Sun Hair and Body Shampoo (100ml worth £6.50) – a do-it-all product that’s great for cleaning up after a day at the beach or pool. It’s made to gently remove all the stuff you don’t want sticking to you, like sunscreen, salt, chlorine, and sand, from both your hair and body. Enriched with glycerin, cocnut oil, and a sweet fragrance of sweet orange, tahitian gardenia and vanilla. I love the smell of the product — it smells like holidays! The scent is so inviting and takes me right back to those carefree vacation days. It’s amazing how a fragrance can instantly remind you of happy times.
Ren AHA Smart Renewal Body Serum (50ml worth £16) – a body serum that brings the benefits of AHAs to your skincare routine. The AHAs can help with natural exfoliation, which means getting rid of dead skin cells. This leaves the skin not just hydrated, but also looking bright and radiantThe formula is enriched with shea butter, lactic acid, sodium lactate, postbiotics, aquaxyl complex, yeast extract, glycogen.
Erborian CC Red Correct SPF25 (15ml, worth £20.50) – a versatile, illuminating tinted cream enriched with SPF 25. Initially, the cream appears green, but upon application, it adapts to match your skin tone. It provides light coverage, evens out the skin tone, and gives a healthy glow.
Mio Heavenly Body Purifying Scrub (275g worth £25) – a moisture-packed exfoliator that gently scrubs your skin. The formula is mild and non-abrasive. The fragrance is quite pleasant. It’s bright and fresh, giving off an airy and invigorating vibe. The formula is enriched with saly crystals, sweet almond oil, sunflower seed oil, opuntia extract, vitex extract, orange peel extract, Eucalyptus leaf oil.
Disciple Healthy Boundaries SPF lip balm (6g worth £12) – a nourishing balm enriched with sun filters to protect the lip area. It contains jojoba and olive oils that work to soften and hydrate the lips. The lip balm does not have a specific scent or flavor. I like the idea of SPF lip balms and also enjoy using this product.
