Lookfantastic Beauty Vault 2024 Review
Here is my latest review, and today, I’m diving into the Lookfantastic Beauty Vault 2024, formerly known as the Beauty Chest. I look forward to this launch every year, and this time, it exceeded my expectations. The Vault features 14 full-sized products worth over £700, which I’ll showcase below.
ELEMIS Pro Collagen Marine Oil (15ml, worth £72.00 Full Size) – an ultra-lightweight facial oil formulated with jojoba oil, grape seed oil, white poppy seed oil, crambe oil, sunflower seed oil, hydrolyzed collagen, padina pavonica extract, golden seaweed extract and kelp extract. Although I’m not generally keen on facial oils, I do use them in the colder months. I mix a couple of drops of oil with my hyaluronic acid serum in the palm of my hand.
Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream (15ml, worth £74) – an intensely hydrating face cream designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines, even tone, and improve skin texture. The formula features sunflower oil, argan oil, avocado oil, shea butter, evening primrose oil, and panthenol. Given my combination skin, I prefer to use this as a night cream through the winter months due to its thick texture. I love the results, although it is quite a pricey moisturiser.
Illamasqua Hydra Veil Primer (30ml, worth £34 Full Size) – a lightweight jelly primer formulated with niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, acmella extract, and microalgae extract. It sets really quickly, smooths my skin, and keeps my makeup in place.
GRANDE Cosmetics GrandeLASH-MD Lash Enhancing Serum (2ml, worth £62 Full Size) – a lash-enhancing serum formulated with panthenol, amino acids, isopropyl cloprostenate (a synthetic prostaglandin analog), honey extract, hydrolysed glycosaminoglycans, hydrolysed yeast extract, hyaluronic acid, sodium lactate, grape extract, coltsfoot extract, ginseng extract, bearberry extract, chamomile extract, and calcium gluconate. After 3 months of use, I can genuinely say I’ve noticed a difference in my lashes. They look fuller and noticeably longer.
ESPA Positivity Bath and Body Oil (100ml, worth £36 Full Size) – a bath and body oil featuring soybean oil, sweet almond oil, avocado oil, and sunflower seed oil. It has a lovely fragrance with notes of bergamot, sweet orange, jasmine, gardenia, and rose geranium. I love the scent, it feels incredibly uplifting and brings a real sense of positivity.
Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray (200ml, worth £27 Full Size) – an anti-frizz styling treatment designed to smooth, enhance radiance, and protect hair against humidity. This product is a part of my haircare routine, so I’m always happy to stock up my supplies. It really makes my hair smoother, shinier, and more manageable.
Rodial Snake Bubble Mask (Single Pack, worth £13.00) – a cleansing bubble mask formulated with charcoal powder, allantoin, niacinamide, adenosine, anise extract, royal jelly extract, hydrolysed collagen, coenzyme Q10, hydrolysed conchiolin protein, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and peptides. I’m not a huge fan of this mask; while my skin appeared rejuvenated and fresher afterwards, it felt slightly tight and quite sticky.
PAT McGRATH LABS FetishEYES Mascara in shade Xtreme Black (8ml, worth £29 Full Size) – a long-wearing black mascara that promises to lengthen and define lashes. I’m looking forward to trying this product.
ICONIC London Multi-Use Blush, Bronze and Highlight Palette (6x 3.2g, worth £38 Full Size) – a multi-use blush, bronze, and highlight cream palette. The formula feels a bit sticky and heavy on the skin, and the blushes and bronzers disappear very quickly on my combination skin. I also wish the blush shades were matte rather than shimmery.
Grow Gorgeous Density Intense Serum (60ml, worth £45 Full Size) – an ultra-concentrated serum designed to revitalise roots and boost thickness, fullness, and overall hair density. The formula includes caffeine, peptides, amino acids, clover extract, pea extract, larix europaea extract, soybean germ extract, wheat germ extract, Chinese skullcap extract, green tea extract, hyaluronic acid, allantoin, gluconolactone, and lactic acid. The formula includes caffeine, peptides, amino acids, clover extract, pea extract, larix europaea extract, soybean germ extract, wheat germ extract, Chinese skullcap extract, green tea extract, hyaluronic acid, allantoin, gluconolactone, and lactic acid. This is my go-to product for autumn, so I’m happy to receive it. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and noticeably supports hair growth, especially around the hairline.
Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream (240ml, worth £48 Full Size) – a fast-absorbing body cream formulated with emollients, coconut oil, açaí oil, cupuaçu seed butter, Brazil nut seed oil, squalane, carrot oil, guaraná extract, and guayusa extract. This definitely isn’t the most moisturising body cream I’ve used, but it’s a nice option. While it’s not my favourite scent among the brand’s fragrances, it’s still a beautiful choice for summer.
111SKIN The Firming Concentrate Serum Ampoules (7 x 2ml, worth £150 Full Size) – a seven-day skincare program featuring Diglucosyl Gallic Acid and Progeline™ (biomimetic peptide-based complex) to even skin tone, improve the appearance of wrinkles, and improve elasticity. This products looks interesting, and considering the price, I’m looking forward to trying it.
EVE LOM Cleanser (100ml, worth £65 Full Size) – a cleansing balm that melts away makeup, daily dirt, and impurities. This cleansing balm isn’t my favourite, and I definatly don’t like its smell, but it does its job really well. It removes makeup effectively, and you don’t need a lot.
Sweed Beauty Le Lipstick (2.5g, worth £22 Full Size) – a balmy lipstick in the shade Nude Pink. I already own this shade, and I absolutely love it. It glides on smoothly, adding a soft sheen to the lips. It feels moisturising and leaves my lips looking plumped. The nude pink is sheer enough for a natural look, making it perfect for everyday wear.
