At today’s review, I want to discuss the Lookfantastic Beauty Chest Edit 2023. I personally believe that this year’s chest offers a great selection of products, some of which I’ve already tried, and others I’m keen to try. Medik8 Clarity Peptides (30ml Full-size worth £45) – a non-sticky, lightweight, milky serum that helps combat blemishes, and reduces any hyperpigmentation responsible for uneven skin tone. The formula is enriched with niacinamide, zinc PCA, acetyl glucosamine, hyaluronic acid, and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-10. This is my seventh tube of clarity peptides, it has become a holy grail for my morning routine. It reduces inflammation and improves the appearance of redness and dark spots, making my skin look more refined.

Dr Zion x Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Mask (x1 worth £9) – an extra-large eye mask created with skincare expert Dr. Zion Ko that delivers an immediate boost of retinol to visibly erase lines and firm and leave eyes looking ultra-refreshed. The formula is also enriched with amino acids, urea, vitamin B8, soybean extract, peach extract, passiflora extract, agave extract, hyaluronic acid, trahalose, and yeast amino acids. Awesome eye masks! They really refresh the skin around my eyes and make it look great.

Sweed Cloud Mascara (12ml Full-size worth £24) – a volumising mascara. This mascara features a vegan-friendly formula and is enriched with panthenol, aiding in lash nourishment. I love this mascara, it lifts and separates my lashes, and never looks clumpy. Moreover, being water-resistant, it offers enduring wear.

Molton Brown Body Wash Orange and Bergamot (100ml worth £10.00) – a citrus-scented bath and shower gel, with vibrant orange, bergamot and, neroli notes. I really enjoy using Molton Brown shower gels. They offer a sense of luxury with their rich lather and the fragrances are potent enough to linger post-shower. The Orange & Bergamot is particularly wonderful, with its fresh and energizing scent that’s great for the morning.

ESPA Overnight Glow Enzyme Peel (30ml Full-size worth £45) – an overnight peel for glowing, refined and replenished skin. Enriched with fermented pumpkin, papaya extract, pineapple extract, mango extract, carrot extract, spirulina extract, hyaluronic acid, purple viper’s-bugloss seed oil, moringa oil. 

REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask (50ml Full-size worth £40) – an exfoliating mask packed with fruit acids and enzymes to boost skin’s radiance and firmness. The formula is also enriched with grape seed oil, black currant oil, cranberry seed oil, grape extract, and passiflora extract. I really love this product! It has a thick consistency and a fresh papaya scent, yet it’s not harsh on the skin. The mask refreshes without drying out, leaving my skin both plump and supple. I always achieve a glowing look after using it.

Natasha Denona Bloom Highlighting Blush (4g Full-size worth £17) – a beautiful vibrant coral blush with a light-diffusing shimmery highlighter. 

Shiseido Benefiance Wrinkle Smoothing Cream (3ml worth £14.50) – an eye cream that helps to diminish the appearance of fine lines around the eye contour area. The formula is enriched with squalane, caffeine, hyaluronic acid, sodium lactate, peptides (palmitoyl tripeptide-1, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7), gambier extract, turmeric extract, shell ginger extract, chlorella extract, algae extract, rhizome extract, ziziphus extract, green tea extract, ginseng extract, and ashitaba extract. I love this wonderful eye cream, and I have been using it for the past month. Actually, it has been one of my favorite eye creams even long before this new and improved formula. It visibly addresses wrinkles and fine lines while making my under-eyes look brighter, smoother, and hydrated.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour® Cream Intensive Moisturising Hand Treatment (30ml worth £11) – a fast-absorbing, non-greasy hand cream that moisturises for up to eight hours to smooth rough, weather-exposed skin, reverses signs of dryness and leaves hands soft once more.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze (8g Full-size worth £23) – a brow wax that lifts, tames, and sculpts the brow hairs. I love this product for its versatility. With just a small amount, it gives a subtle look, or you can apply more for a laminated look to the skin. It lets me sculpt my brows just as I like, and the gel sets clear without being noticeable. 

Olaplex No.8 Hair Mask (100ml Full-Size worth £28) – a highly concentrated reparative mask to treat dry or damaged hair while adding body, shine, and weightless moisture. Formulated with Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate to repair damage and strengthen hair by building bonds. The formula is also enriched with avocado oil, meadowfoam oil, rice bran oil, hemp oil, safflower seed oil, squalane, ceramides, antistatics, hyaluronic acid, amino acids, panthenol, phospholipids, and rose hip extract. I absolutely adore Olaplex hair products, and this is one of my favorite hair masks. Using it has significantly improved my hair, making it super soft, silky, and shiny. Love it!

Rodial Pink Diamond Instant Lifting Serum (30ml Full-size worth £125) – a triple-action flash radiance serum with an immediate skin-lifting effect. The formula is enriched with vitamin C, diamond powder, pomegranate extract, algae extract, and hydrolyzed vegetable protein.

NEOM Real Luxury Travel Candle (75g worth £19) – a floral-scented candle with notes of lavender, jasmine, and Brazilian rosewood. It’s one of the most famous NEOM aromas. As a fan of scented candles, I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying a couple of these candles in the past, and I must say, the scent is gorgeous. It smells really calming and natural.

NARS Orgasm Eyeshadow Quad (worth £43) – an eyeshadow palette with four matte, shimmer, and multi-dimensional glitters. Love this eyeshadow quad! The pigmentation is perfect, and it lasts long on my eyes. The colours are truly flattering, and the shadows themselves have a really smooth texture that blends well.

Two products from Living Proof:

• Living Proof Full Shampoo (30ml  worth £6.50) – a hair volumising shampoo that helps to deliver bouncy, glossy, and fuller-looking hair. It’s decent and works well for daily use; it wasn’t drying and didn’t cause itchiness in my scalp. Yet, I didn’t really see any noticeable volumizing. All in all, it’s a good shampoo.
• Living Proof Full Conditioner (30ml worth £6.50) – a lightweight conditioner that promotes a bouncy, full-bodied appearance while helping to detangle hair without leaving it feeling heavy. When using the Full Shampoo and Conditioner together, I didn’t notice a volumising effect, rather, the conditioner appeared to smooth my hair without leaving it feeling heavy or coated.

Aromatherapy Associates Revive Morning Roller Ball (10ml Full-size worth £25) – a 100% natural intensely concentrated aromatherapy oil in a rollerball format. It’s blended with Grapefruit, Orange, Rosemary, and Juniper. I find the scent truly invigorating. A few minutes of inhaling it can help with early morning wake-up. However, it’s not going to replace my morning coffee, as it claims to do.
