Lookfantastic Beauty Box October 2023 Review
For today’s review, I want to discuss the Lookfantastic Beauty Box October 2023, which I recently received. It contains six skincare, haircare, and makeup products worth over £72, with two of them in full-size. So, let’s check out what’s inside this month’s box.
Lixirskin Universal Emulsion (30ml worth £17.40) – a face and body cream, enriched with shea butter, evening primrose oil, oryzanol, hyaluronic acid, and amino acid. A good night moisturiser, it’s lightweight, not oily, and not greasy, providing the right amount of moisture my combination skin needs without being heavy.
Delilah Retractable Liner in Coal (worth £20) – a long wearing black waterproof eyeliner. It’s a quite decent eyeliner with a soft, creamy texture and intense colour. It’s easy to apply and has good staying power. Plus, I found the tiniest sharpener inside the cap, the smallest I’ve ever seen.
Beauty Works Blow Dry Crème (deluxe size 30ml worth £4) – a heat protection blow dry cream enriched with argan oil, conditioning agents, antistatics, and pro-vitamin B5 (panthenol). This one is a miss for me because of its awful smell. My apologies to Beauty Works, I can’t say much about the product.
ESPA Clean & Green Detox Mask (30ml worth £21.82) – a clay mask formulated to visibly brighten and clarify dull complexions. A formula enriched with grape seed oil, broccoli oil, echium oil, moringa oil, spinach extract, spirulina extract, and sodium gluconate. This face mask is a favorite. It leaves my skin feeling clean, incredibly soft, and refreshed.
Lottie London Slay All Day Mini Liquid Lipstick in So Good (1.8ml worth £4) – a lip colour with a velvety matte finish. I found it reasonably good for its price. The shade is nice and highly pigmented, but it takes a bit of time to dry and doesn’t last very long.
brushworks Lash Curler (full-size worth £4.99) – a pink eyelash curler. It’s a basic curler at an affordable price. It’s easy and comfortable to use, doesn’t rip out the lashes, and provides a nice curl. Works perfectly fine for me.
