Lookfantastic Beauty Box December 2023 Review
I’m a bit late with the Lookfantastic Beauty Box December 2023 review, but better late than never, right? Last month’s box was dedicated to the Christmas holiday and contained a funny red headband along with five beauty products, some of which were random. So, today, I’d like to show you the beauty treats I received in December.
Rituals The Ritual of Ayurveda Rich Body Oil (30ml worth £7) – a deeply nourishing and aromatic body oil. This luxurious blend includes grape seed oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower seed oil, sweet almond weed oil, coconut oil, and moringa oil. I’ve been using this oil for the past month and I really love it. The oil has a wonderful fragrance and absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling very smooth.
Revolution Skincare Extra 0.5% Retinol Serum with Rosehip Seed Oil (30ml worth £10) – a water- and silicone-free solution containing 0.5% retinol. The formula is enriched with coconut oil, grape seed oil, rosehip oil, and sweet almond oil.
Fresh Soy Face Cleanser (15ml worth £4.50) – a soothing water-based cleanser enriched with cornflower flower water, Damask rose flower water, aloe juice, cucumber extract, mallow flower extract, ginseng extract, Damask rose extract, hydrolyzed soy protein, sunflower seed oil, and borago seed oil. I love this gel cleanser from Fresh. I use it for my second cleanse in the evening, following the removal of makeup with a cleansing balm or oil. It cleanses effectively, leaving my skin feeling fresh and clean without any sensation of being stripped or dried out. The fragrance is subtle and pleasant, and the formula is lightweight and gentle, yet it does a great job without causing any dryness or tightness.
Color Wow One Minute Transformation Styling Cream (30ml worth £10) – a non-greasy cream designed for use on dry hair. It instantly works to smooth, tame, and reduce frizz. The formulation includes avocado oil, conditioning agents, and Omega 3’s, which help to hydrate and nourish the hair, giving it a silky, glossy texture. I’ve been keen to try this product for a while, and I’m really happy that it’s included in the box.
Brushworks Cloud Headband (worth £10) – a limited-edition red Christmas headband made from absorbent terry cloth. Initially, I didn’t think I would use it due to its size, but I ended up really liking it. Despite being quite large, the headband fits really well. I found it lightweight, soft, and comfy. Great headband.
Benefit BADgal BANG! Volumizing Mascara (3ml worth £9) – a volumising mascara that layers easily to build massive volume without weighing down lashes. This mascara does a good job at lengthening and thickening lashes, and it lasts without clumping. That said, I must admit, my personal preference leans more towards the Benefit Roller Lash.
