Fenty Beauty Advent Calendar 2024 Review
In today’s post, I’m excited to share my thoughts on the Fenty Beauty Advent Calendar 2024. This year, Fenty has launched a 12-day calendar featuring a mix of six Fenty Beauty products alongside six Fenty Skin products, all beautifully presented in a luxurious velvet-like box. Let’s dive in and explore its contents, along with my brief reviews.
Fenty Beauty Icon Velvet Liquid Lipstick (5.5g, worth £25.00 Full Size) – a liquid lipstick with a whipped texture in the shade MVP. It has a really good colour and a velvet finish, but it can be a bit messy and, unfortunately, doesn’t stay on the lips.
Fenty Beauty Match Stix in 01 AMBER (2.8g, Deluxe Size) – a matte contour stick in the shade 01 AMBER. I already have this product in the same shade, and I absolutely love it. It goes on smoothly, blends nicely, and lasts long. The shade is perfect for my skin and looks so natural. I’m really happy to find it in the advent calendar.
FENTY BEAUTY Hella Thicc Volumizing Mascara (10ml, worth £19.00 Full Size) – a long-wearing black mascara with a tapered brush that promises to give lashes an outrageously thick, lifted look. Given all the positive reviews, I’m excited to try it out.
FENTY BEAUTY Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush in PETAL POPPIN (3g worth £22.00 Full Size) – a cream blush that seamlessly melts into the skin for a beautiful wash of colour and a natural-looking flush. I truly love this blush, it applies evenly and blends out with ease. The texture is fantastic, feeling smooth without feeling wet or tacky. The colour is stunning too—truly a fantastic product!
FENTY SKIN Blemish Defeat’r BHA Spot-Targeting Gel (15ml, worth £21.00 Full Size) – a spot-targeting gel that improves the appearance of blemishes, formulated with salicylic acid, willow bark extract, licorice extract, ginger extract, rhubarb extract, boldo extract, and panthenol. This product isn’t particularly effective under makeup, but it works well when applied to freshly popped pimples.
FENTY SKIN Melt Awf Jelly Oil Makeup Melting Cleanser (30ml, Deluxe Size) – a jelly-oil cleanser formulated with sunflower seed oil, safflower oil, soybean oil, shea butter, baobab oil, watermelon seed oil, elderberry seed oil, cucumber seed oil, and oat kernel oil. This cleanser looks interesting, and I’m looking forward to trying it.
Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer (9ml worth £19 Full Size) – a lip gloss in the shade Riri. The formula is smooth and not sticky at all. It’s very pretty and comfortable on the lips. I really like it!
Fenty Skin Hydra Reset Intensive Recovery Hand Mask (30ml, Deluxe Size) – a hand mask formulated with 40% moisture-locking glycerin, panthenol, mango butter, murumuru butter, watermelon seed oil, soybean oil, acerola extract, and mangosteen extract. I’ve wanted to try this product for a while, so I was thrilled to see it included in the advent calendar.
FENTY SKIN HYDRA VIZOR Mineral SPF 30 Moisturizer With Niacinamide (30ml, worth £16.00, Travel Size) – a sheer, lightweight sunscreen that visibly evens skin tone, refines pores, and improves the appearance of texture. The formula is enriched with shea butter, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, watermelon extract, baobab extract, buchu extract, and aloe juice. Unfortunately, this product is a miss for my combination skin; it feels greasy and leaves a film on my face, which is causing me to break out.
Fenty Skin Fat Water Hydrating Milky Toner Essence (50ml, Deluxe Size) – a hydrating toner-essence. The formula includes niacinamide, panthenol, hyaluronic acid, coconut oil, watermelon seed oil, baobab seed oil, and mineral PCAs. I love how hydrated and soft it keeps my skin. It smells lovely, like a fresh oolong tea.
Fenty Treatz Hydrating + Strengthening Lip Oil in Cherry (5.6ml, worth £21 Full Size) – a hydrating lip oil in the shade Cherry. It’s another item I already have, though I’m still happy to find it in the advent calendar. It smells lovely and leaves my lips soft and smooth without feeling sticky. I like the shade and find it perfect for everyday use.
