Dyson Omega™ Leave-In Conditioning Spray Review
This time, I’m sharing my review of the Dyson Omega™ Leave-In Conditioning Spray, designed to reduce breakage and frizz, detangle the hair, and provide heat protection. Here’s what I think after trying it out.
The formula contains the Dyson Oli7™ Blend, which combines seven omega-rich oils (sunflower, macadamia, crambe, avocado, olive, corn, and sesame) to deliver a comprehensive profile of essential fatty acids, including omegas 3, 6, 7, and 9. This blend helps smooth and soften the hair, leaving it looking healthier while supporting long-term hair strength. It works alongside a fermented oil complex of sweet almond and camellia seed oils to enhance the formula’s performance while maintaining a lightweight feel.
The formula also contains a blend of detangling, anti-frizz, conditioning, and antistatic agents to help detangle the hair, reduce frizz and static, and leave it smoother and more manageable. Additionally, a blend of humectants, including glycerin, panthenol, and pantolactone, helps soften the hair structure, while a blend of oils, including coconut oil, linseed seed oil, borage seed oil, and argan oil, helps improve flexibility and reduce brittleness.
The Dyson Omega™ Leave-In Conditioning Spray has a lightweight consistency that doesn’t weigh my hair down, which is exactly what I look for in a hair spray. I like how it sprays evenly throughout my hair and quickly sinks in without leaving any sticky or greasy residue. It also provides heat protection up to 232°C/450°F, which is a real benefit if you use heat styling tools. And it smells good too.
It’s worth mentioning that you need to unlock the sprayer before using it. To do this, push the refill cartridge out of the outer case and remove the plastic collar. There is an illustration on the packaging, but I found it a bit confusing at first.
I’ve recently started using it after getting back from my summer holiday. After two weeks of sea salt and chlorine, my hair was, I’d say, not exactly in the best condition. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it made my hair softer and smoother, with a healthy shine. After washing my hair, I spritz it onto damp hair, and it makes my hair more manageable, reduces frizz and makes it much easier to detangle. This is definitely coming with me on my next beach holiday.
To sum up, I’ve had a great experience with the Dyson Omega™ Leave-In Conditioning Spray so far, and it works well for my hair.
