I’m here with another review, and today I want to discuss the Cult Beauty The Dewy Skin Discovery Kit 2024. This goody bag contains a selection of 9 products worth over £180. Below, I’ll share its contents along with my purchases.
Alpha-H Melting Moment Cleansing Balm (18g, worth £11.99) – a cleansing balm enriched with grape seed oil, sandalwood seed oil, bisabolol, and Australian wild orange leaf extract. I had planned to save the purchase of this product for the next goody bag, so I’m glad to try it in advance.
SISLEY-PARIS Ecological Compound (10ml, worth £19) – a skincare treatment that hydrates, protects, and revitalises the skin, restoring tone and radiance. The formula is enriched with a complex of plant extracts, including centella asiatica, burdock, meadowsweet, hops, ginseng, soybean, and horsetail. It’s lightweight, absorbs well, and doesn’t leave any greasy residue, leaving my skin feeling soft and hydrated. This is a nice skincare product, especially for summer.
The Ordinary Multi Peptide + HA Serum (30ml, worth £15.90) – a peptide-infused serum aimed at improving skin smoothness and firmness. Its formula is also enriched with probiotics, hyaluronic acid, amino acids, allantoin, trehalose, fructose, glucose, maltose, and urea.
Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate (4ml, worth £11) – a face oil specifically formulated to repair, smooth, and nourish the skin overnight. The formula includes squalane, rosehip oil, evening primrose oil, and jojoba oil. Given its impressive reviews, I’m eager to try this product.
Glow Recipe Avocado Ceramide Moisture Barrier Cleanser (150ml, worth £25.31) – a gentle cleanser that hydrates the skin and supports the skin barrier. The formula is enriched with ceramides, colloidal oatmeal, hyaluronic acid, avocado oil, arginine, phytosphingosine, prebiotics, and postbiotics. This cleanser has been a part of my morning routine for some time now. I love how clean and hydrated it leaves my skin without drying it out.
Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream (5ml) – a daily moisturiser formulated with signal peptides, growth factors, amino acids, and pygmy waterlily to enhance the appearance of skin tone, texture, and firmness. It hydrates and rejuvenates the skin without feeling greasy. It doesn’t peel and doesn’t cause any breakouts.
Dr. LEVY Switzerland Eye Booster Concentrate (7ml, worth £77.00) – is a lightweight eye serum formulated to visibly reduce puffiness, dark circles, and fine lines. The formula includes niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, caffeine, peptides, prebiotics, argan tree stem cell extract, Swiss apple tree stem cell extract, and Borago oil. It has made a noticeable difference to the fine lines under my eyes. A small amount goes a long way, so it should last a while.
Sunday Riley Good Genes Glycolic Acid Treatment (8ml, worth £16) – a skin-perfecting serum to improve skin texture and elasticity. The strong glycolic acid formula helps to reduce the appearance of dark spots and blemishes, together with smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. I’ve come to realise that this serum is too harsh for my skin. I’ve experienced reactions to products containing glycolic acid before, so I opted for products with lactic acid instead.
LANEIGE Bouncy and Firm Sleeping Mask (10ml) – an overnight mask that firms and hydrates the skin, infused with squalane, probiotics, allantoin, adenosine, cholesterol, hydrolyzed collagen, hyaluronic acid, peony extract, and peptides. I’ve been curious about this mask since its launch because I enjoy using many of LANEIGE’s products. Although I haven’t tried it yet, I’m happy to receive it in the goody bag.
Cult Beauty Black Pouch (worth £12) – a branded makeup bag from Cult Beauty. I like these pouches and already have the same one from one of the previous goody bags. Despite their small size, they are actually quite roomy.
