Beautylish Original Lucky Bag 2024 Review
This year, I’ve decided to purchase my first-ever Lucky Bag from Beautylish, and today I’m excited to share its contents with you. I’ve chosen to buy the Beautylish Original Lucky Bag 2024, which costs £72, and received 7 products with a total value of £186. Let’s wait no longer and see what’s inside.
R+Co Zipper Multi-Tasking Styling Lotion (177ml worth £25.00) – a lightweight lotion for wet setting, wrapping, and blow-drying that bonds to hair, leaving it less porous with sealed ends. The formula is enriched with rice bran extract, panthenol, rice seed protein, liquid shea butter, black chia seed oil, sunflower extract, conditioning agents, and anti-static agents. It promises to protect hair against frizz and add shine. I’ve never used this before, but I like styling products, so I’m excited to try it. And it has an amazing scent.
Charlotte Tilbury Eye Enhancing Beauty Secrets Kit (worth £28.00) – a cream eyeshadow set featuring Colour Chameleon in Pillow Talk and Smokey Pillow Talk. I’m really enjoying using this duo. The shade Pillow Talk is a lovely shimmering pink nude that’s shimmery but not glittery, which is a key difference. Smokey Pillow Talk is a matte berry brown, and it works great as a liner. These eyeshadows are soft and creamy to apply, smoothly gliding over the eyelid without dragging. They dry down nicely, but there’s still enough time to smudge them. They last all day on my eyes without creasing or fading (but in my regular makeup routine, I always use an eye primer).
Slip Pure Silk Skinny Scrunchie (single worth £6.50) – a high-quality scrunchie made of silk. I really like Slip’s scrunchies. They are comfortable, soft, and don’t damage my hair. Even though it’s not the most anticipated item for me, it is still a pleasant addition to the list of products I received.
SURRATT Lipslique in Paramour (worth £32.00) – a hydrating lipstick balm. The shade Paramour is a beautiful nude with a peach undertone. It hydrates my lips and gives them a natural and pretty look, while making them appear plumper, without the feeling of drying or being sticky.
SONIA G Fundamental Worker S (worth £32.50) – a multipurpose brush that combines laydown, crease, and blending abilities designed with natural white goat bristles and sturdy walnut wood. I’m in love with Sonia G.’s brushes, and as many of you know, they are sold exclusively at Beautylish. The chance to receive one of these beauties was a compelling reason to purchase a Lucky Bag for me. This brush is a part of Sonia G.’s updated Fundamental Eye Series. I already own the Worker Pro brush from Sonia G., which handles the same tasks as the Worker S, and I enjoy using it. Needless to say, I am more than happy to add it to my collection.
WAYNE GOSS The Luxury Amber Eye Palette (worth £56) – an eyeshadow palette with six shades in matte, satin, and shimmer finishes. Unfortunately, this palette is a miss for me because, apart from not having a particular interest in Wayne Goss’s palettes, I was really hoping to receive one from Danessa Myricks. I didn’t like most of the shades, and opening it was a struggle. Seriously, the packaging is a disaster, every time I try to open it, I feel like I’m going to break my nails.
GOOD MOLECULES Yerba Mate Wake Up Eye Gel (worth £6) – a soothing eye gel formulated with yerba mate extract, chicory extract, panthenol, allantoin, hyaluronic acid, caffeine, and acetyl tetrapeptide-5. It’s an exceptionally light and refreshing gel, which I prefer to use prior to applying moisturiser. It provides a refreshing cooling sensation, although I don’t find it to be particularly moisturising.
Hi Mary, this is an interesting review and although good products it’s quite expensive. Have you tried a beauty focus box from Secret Sales? There is an unboxing on YouTube and for 20 pounds I was impressed. There’s also one for 40 but I preferred the cheaper box! Have a lovely day. Gillian
