VIRTUE Restorative Treatment Mask Review
Today, I want to discuss the VIRTUE Restorative Treatment Mask, one of my all-time favourite hair masks. I’ve been using it for years, and I’m not going to lie, I absolutely love this product.
The formula contains a blend of conditioning agents, anti-static agents, polymers, and silicone-based polymers (including dimethicone). It also contains Alpha Keratin 60ku®, Virtue’s exclusive protein that strengthens and repairs hair from the inside out. A blend of panthenol, hydrolysed linseed extract, chia extract, rice bran extract, trehalose, xylitol, galactoarabinan, moringa oleifera seed oil, hydrolysed baobab extract, and quechua extract conditions and helps seal off the cuticle of each strand.
Amaranthus extract, shea butter, rice seed protein, hydrolysed quinoa, and artichoke extract help to restore elasticity, reduce breakage, and give hair a healthy shine. A blend of pea extract, rosemary leaf extract, madecassoside, and asiaticoside strengthens the hair and promotes hair growth. Sessile oak extract, sunflower sprout extract, rice bran extract, and green tea extract provide antioxidant protection, while a blend of Crodasone™ Cystine, Crodasone™ P, and Keramare™ provides protection against cuticle cracking caused by common hair styling and helps repair damage.
The texture of the mask is thick and balmy. However, when you scoop it from the jar, it spreads easily through the hair, melting away any knots and tangles. Also, it doesn’t feel greasy at all.
The VIRTUE Restorative Treatment Mask has a divine fragrance with notes of creamy coconut, tropical yuzu, and warm woods. The scent is quite strong but never overwhelming and doesn’t linger on the hair. I find it absolutely gorgeous, but if you’re sensitive to fragrance, I’d recommend giving it a test before making a purchase.
The VIRTUE Restorative Treatment Mask definitely makes my hair smoother and silkier. It deeply conditions my hair, making it incredibly manageable, soft, and beautifully shiny without weighing it down or leaving it greasy. I can’t stop touching my hair after washing this mask out. For my fine, colour-treated, and damaged hair, this mask has been an absolute game-changer.
What makes this mask so great is how fast it works—you only need to leave it on for 2 to 3 minutes, which makes it perfect for using during a regular shower. Plus, a little goes a long way. Just a small, quarter-sized amount is enough, so a single jar lasts for ages.
The VIRTUE Restorative Treatment Mask works wonders for my hair, and I’m already on my 5 jar. The only downside is that it’s quite a pricey product, but personally, I find it worth the investment, so I’ll keep repurchasing.
