Ultra Violette Vibrant Screen SPF50 Active Facial Skinscreen Review

Ultra Violette Vibrant Screen SPF50 Active Facial Skinscreen Review

In this review, I want to share my experience with the Ultra Violette Vibrant Screen SPF 50 Active Facial SKINSCREEN, which promises a sweat-resistant and water-resistant formula suitable for all skin types. Let’s see how it actually performs.

The formula contains homosalate (which protects against UVB rays), ethylhexyl salicylate (also known as octisalate, which protects against UVB rays), butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane (also known as avobenzone, which protects against UVA rays), ethylhexyl triazone (also known as Uvinul T 150, which provides one of the highest levels of photostable UVB protection), phenylbenzimidazole sulfonic acid (also known as Ensulizole, which helps protect against UVB rays), and bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine (also known as Bemotrizinol, which provides broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection). Additionally, it contains butyloctyl salicylate (which can help boost the SPF performance of sunscreens) and vp/hexadecene copolymer (which improves wear time, enhances water resistance, and helps maintain an even sunscreen film).

Additionally, a blend of kakadu plum fruit extract, dunaliella salina extract, and vitamin E provides antioxidant protection. A blend of glycerin, aloe vera leaf juice, arginine, and hyaluronic acid helps support skin hydration, while a combination of emollient and occlusive ingredients helps soften and condition the skin and improve spreadability. Additionally, jojoba seed oil, arginine, and aloe vera leaf juice help support the skin barrier and soothe the skin.

The Ultra Violette Vibrant Screen SPF50 Active Facial Skinscreen has a light, fluid texture that spreads easily and leaves no white cast. It doesn’t feel greasy, and it’s noticeably lighter than the hydrating version. On my combination skin, it takes a while to fully settle. It wears well under makeup and never pills. This sunscreen leaves a hydrated, glowy finish that can be easily toned down with a little powder. It does have a slight chemical scent, but I don’t find it off-putting.

For some context, I have combination skin that tends to break out in warmer weather and around my period. This sunscreen didn’t cause any breakouts, irritate my skin, or sting my eyes. It works well for me in spring, but in summer, I usually reach for less hydrating formulas. I think it would suit normal to dry skin year-round, but those with combination or oily skin might find it a bit too heavy for summer.

Ultra Violette Vibrant Screen Review

To sum it up, I’ve enjoyed using the Ultra Violette Vibrant Screen SPF50 Active Facial Skinscreen. I like that it’s sweat-resistant and water-resistant, so it works well for workouts and outdoor activities. It also comes in a generous 75ml tube, which is more product than you get with most facial sunscreens.
