Tatcha The Water Cream Review

Tatcha The Water Cream Review

Welcome back to my next review. Today I want to talk about the Tatcha Water Cream, a lightweight, oil-free moisturiser. Here’s what I think after trying it.

Tatcha The Water Cream

The formula contains a blend of glycerin, diglycerin, hyaluronic acid, lecithin, and Japanese wild rose extract which hydrates the skin. It also features Tatcha’s signature Hadasei-3™ complex of fermented rice, green tea, and algae, which helps soften, firm, hydrate, boost cell renewal, and support the skin barrier. A blend of emollients and occlusive agents, including silicone polymers, to lock in moisture and soften the skin. In addition, Japanese wild rose extract, sophora root extract, houttuynia extract, and gold provide antioxidant protection. Blackberry lily extract and houttuynia extract soothe the skin, while gold helps boost collagen production and adds a radiant glow.

Tatcha The Water Cream Oil-Free Pore Minimizing Moisturizer Review

The Water Cream has a whipped gel-cream texture and a fresh scent that’s not overpowering. When applied, it bursts into a water-like consistency with a slight cooling effect. It sinks in right away and leaves a dewy, healthy-looking finish without any greasiness. I like using it under makeup because it smooths my skin without feeling heavy and never pills. A little really goes a long way, and just a pea-sized amount is enough for the entire face. The packaging is adorable too, with a tiny gold spoon on top of the jar.

The Water Cream leaves my skin feeling soft, hydrated, and soothed. It’s hydrating without feeling heavy. It also helps even out my skin tone and never causes breakouts or irritation. I love how smoothly it applies and how comfortable my skin feels afterwards. It’s a lovely everyday moisturiser for me.

I have combination skin that tends to break out in warmer months and around my period, but this product doesn’t cause any breakouts. It gives my skin enough hydration, though I’m not sure it would be rich enough for dry skin, especially in colder weather. For me, it works perfectly in the evening during warmer months or in the morning when it’s colder.

Tatcha Water Cream Review

I love everything about Tatcha, and The Water Cream is no exception. I really enjoy using it. Yes, it’s a bit on the pricey side, but I’d happily repurchase it if it goes on sale.
