Tatcha The Indigo Cleansing Balm Review
Here are my honest thoughts on the Tatcha Indigo Cleansing Balm, a fragrance-free cleansing balm that gently removes makeup and daily buildup.
The formula uses a blend of emollients and emulsifiers to dissolve makeup and impurities while softening the skin. It also features Tatcha’s signature Hadasei-3™ complex of fermented rice, green tea, and algae, which helps soften, firm, hydrate, support cell renewal, and strengthen the skin barrier. Japanese indigo extract, hydrolysed gardenia florida extract, and lotus flower extract soothe and calm the skin, while a blend of lotus flower extract, hydrolysed gardenia florida extract, and vitamin E provides antioxidant protection.
The Tatcha Indigo Cleansing Balm has a luxurious, buttery-soft texture that melts easily and rinses off, leaving no greasy residue. You only need a pea-sized amount to get your face clean, so a little goes a long way.
This balm feels incredibly gentle and doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped or tight. It works really well as the first step of my double cleanse and takes everything off with ease. Additionally, at the time I was using it, I experienced some irritation, and I love how soothing it felt on my skin.
Overall, the Tatcha Indigo Cleansing Balm is a really nice product. I’d recommend giving it a try, but I think it works best for dry or sensitive skin.
