SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Air-Fit Suncream Plus SPF 50+ Review

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Air-Fit Suncream Plus SPF 50 review

Welcome to another SPF review! This time, I want to discuss the SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Air-Fit Suncream Plus SPF 50+. Let’s delve into the details and see what this one’s all about.

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Air-Fit Suncream Plus SPF 50+

The active ingredients in this mineral sunscreen are zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. The formula also contains a blend of Centella asiatica extract (35.8%), madecassoside, chamomile extract, Chinese skullcap extract, licorice extract, Kojo-Kon extract, and niacinamide to soothe the skin. A blend of hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, betaine, skin-softening agents, and conditioning silicones hydrates, softens the skin, and creates silky-smooth spreadability with an enhanced sensorial feel. Additionally, a blend of niacinamide, Centella asiatica extract, benzotriazolyl dodecyl p-cresol, Coptis chinensis root extract, green tea extract, Chinese skullcap extract, licorice extract, Kojo-Kon extract, and cocoa extract provides antioxidant protection.

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Air-Fit Suncream Plus SPF50 Review

The SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Air Fit Suncream Plus SPF 50 has a thick, slightly pasty texture with a light greyish-white colour. I can only use a very small amount, much less than the recommended ½ teaspoon, as applying the correct quantity for SPF 50 protection leaves a noticeable white cast. Additionally, it feels heavy and appears thick when applied properly. It also takes more effort to apply, as it requires thorough rubbing and blending to work it in properly.

The SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Air-Fit Suncream Plus SPF50 has a slightly strong herbal scent, but it fades quickly.

The good thing is that it doesn’t feel sticky or greasy on my face. It has a very nice matte finish, holds my makeup nicely, and doesn’t pill. I have combination skin and tend to break out during warmer weather and around my period. This product doesn’t break me out, and it never irritates my skin or stings my eyes.

SKIN1004 Air-Fit Suncream Plus SPF 50 Review

To sum it up, I can’t say I enjoy using the SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Air-Fit Suncream Plus SPF 50+. Unfortunately, it’s one of the worst SPFs I’ve used in quite a while, so I wouldn’t consider repurchasing it.

Couldn’t agree more. It leaves a huge white cast that takes a lot of rubbing into the skin. Still makes your face look white, like you are sick ☹️
