SKIN 1004 Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Glow Sun Ampoule Review

Today I’m sharing my thoughts on another K-beauty sunscreen I’ve tested, the SKIN 1004 Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Glow Sun Ampoule.

The formula includes ethylhexyl triazone (Uvinul T 150, which offers one of the highest levels of photostable UVB absorption), diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate (also known as Uvinul A Plus, which protects the skin against UVA rays), bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine (also known as Tinosorb S, which provides full UVA and UVB coverage), and terephthalylidene dicamphor sulfonic acid (also known as Mexoryl SX, which protects against UVA rays). Together, these filters deliver high, photostable broad-spectrum protection.
Additionally, it contains a blend of emollients and barrier-supporting ingredients including macadamia seed oil, niacinamide, ceramides, phytosphingosine, and phytosterols to help reduce moisture loss and support barrier repair. A blend of panthenol, adenosine, madecassic acid, asiaticoside, asiatic acid, centella asiatica extract, aloe leaf extract, wild yam extract, elm bark extract, viola extract, and probiotics helps calm and soothe the skin while providing antioxidant protection. Niacinamide, betaine, glycerin, panthenol, aloe leaf extract, and algae extract also help hydrate the skin.

The SKIN1004 Probio Cica Glow Sun Ampoule has a light, lotion-like texture that spreads easily and leaves no white cast at all. It sinks in fast and doesn’t feel greasy. It gives my skin a nice, healthy glow and sits perfectly under makeup without any pilling. Additionally, it doesn’t have any scent.

I have combination skin, and this one works best for me in the colder months. However, in summer, I usually prefer less glowy and less moisturising formulas. I believe this sunscreen is a great option for normal to dry skin year-round. But if you have combination or oily skin, it might feel a bit heavy, especially during warmer months.

To sum it up, I’ve had a good experience with the SKIN 1004 Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Glow Sun Ampoule, and I can definitely recommend it to those with normal to dry skin.
