R.E.M. Beauty Review August 2026

I have three R.E.M. Beauty makeup products to talk about today: the Sweet Dreams Eyeshadow Quad, the Eclipse Blush & Lip Stick, and the Satin Matte Blush. Here’s what I thought of each one.

R.E.M. Beauty Satin Matte Blush in Rose On Mars and Peach Planet

R.E.M. Beauty Hypernova Satin Matte Blush is a weightless powder blush that infuses skin in vibrant one-swipe pigments for a beautifully blurred soft-focus finish. I actually like this blush much more than I expected. It applies smoothly, blends easily and looks really natural on the skin without being too matte. The pigmentation is just right too. The colour shows up well without being too intense, and the formula doesn’t look dry or cakey on the skin. It also has really good staying power and lasts all day, especially when set with powder or fixing spray.

I picked up two shades: Peach Planet and Rose On Mars.

• Peach Planet – a soft peach shade. It gives my cheeks just the right amount of colour without looking too much. It’s perfect for a fresh summer makeup look.
• Rose On Mars – a soft rose shade and my favourite of the two. It’s neither too warm nor too cool, and it matches the natural rosy tone of my cheeks perfectly.

R.E.M. Beauty Sweet Dreams Eyeshadow Quad in Dangerous Woman – a cool-toned limited-edition eyeshadow quad. It has a smooth, creamy formula that blends easily, with minimal fallout. The shimmer shade at the top is a little dry, but it still applies well. The colour payoff is great, even with a single layer, and it’s buildable too. The mattes are gorgeous, buttery and easy to work with, while the shimmers are shiny and beautiful. Personally, I’d recommend using a primer to help the shadows last longer and prevent fallout.

R.E.M. Beauty Eclipse Blush & Lip Stick in Audition – a 2-in-1 stick that gives the cheeks and lips a healthy, natural-looking glow. Although Audition is described as a nude rose shade, it looks much more coral-peach to me and definitely isn’t cool-toned. It has a nice balmy texture that blends effortlessly, even with your fingers, making it easy to reapply on the go.
