This time, I’d like to share my thoughts on some of the R.E.M. Beauty products. For testing, I picked up the Dreamglow Highlight Serum in Quartz, the Starlet Lustrous Liquid Eyeshadow in Fembot, and the Essential Drip Glossy Balm in Cherry Cola. Let’s take a closer look at these 3 and see if they’re worth trying.
R.E.M. Beauty Dreamglow Highlight Serum in Quartz
R.E.M. Beauty Dreamglow Highlight Serum in Quartz – a glow-enhancing serum formulated with peptides and hyaluronic acid that can be used alone as a luminous base or mixed with complexion products. The texture is incredibly lightweight and feels almost like water on the skin.
The Quartz colour suits my complexion very well. It’s almost transparent with a pink undertone.
I use the R.E.M. Beauty Dreamglow Highlight Serum as the final step in my skincare routine on no-makeup days with a little powder on my T-zone, or sometimes mix it with my moisturiser, or use it as a primer under makeup. It gives me a pretty dewy glow without making my skin oily or greasy.

R.E.M. Beauty Starlet Lustrous Liquid Eyeshadow in Fembot – a metallic duochrome featuring a beige base with pink-lavender-blue shifts, which pulls more pink on the lid.
It’s such a gorgeous shade, I really love it. It’s super pigmented, smooth, and sparkly. It gives just the right amount of shimmer without being too bold.
The formula is great. It goes on easily, blends effortlessly and stays on all day. However, I still use a primer to prevent both eyeshadow creasing and fallout. It can be worn alone or on top of other eyeshadows to add an extra sparkle. It has a doe-foot applicator, though I prefer to use a brush or my fingertips.
R.E.M. Beauty Essential Drip Glossy Balm in Cherry Cola
R.E.M. Beauty Essential Drip Glossy Balm in Cherry Cola – a hydrating lip balm with a glossy finish. The Cherry Cola is a brown cherry shade. It looks pretty on its own and even better with a brown lip liner. Plus, it has a subtle vanilla scent that’s really pleasant.
The balm has a super smooth and thick texture, but feels light and comfortable on the lips. I’d say the texture is more tacky than sticky. It keeps my lips hydrated all day and makes them look plump and juicy.
