OUAI Deodorant Melrose Place, Cape Town and St Barts Review
This time, I’m sharing my thoughts on OUAI deodorants in Melrose Place, Cape Town and St Barts. Let’s get into the details and see whether they lived up to my expectations.
OUAI Deodorant Cape Town
The OUAI Deodorant Cape Town is an aluminium-free deodorant scented with the Cape Town fragrance. The fragrance features top notes of ginger, basil and spearmint, middle notes of tomato leaf and green fig, and base notes of ambroxan and wet grass. This is my absolute favourite OUAI scent. It smells clean and fresh.
The formula contains a blend of tapioca starch, magnesium hydroxide and piroctone olamine to absorb excess moisture, support odour control and neutralise odour causing bacteria. It also contains a blend of emollients including coconut oil and shea butter that soften the skin and improve spreadability without feeling too heavy. Additionally, like all OUAI products, the formula is heavily fragranced.
All OUAI deodorants have a really nice creamy texture that glides on effortlessly and applies clearly, so you don’t get any white marks on your clothes. They feel comfortable on the skin without being sticky or greasy. I find OUAI deodorants absolutely perfect for everyday wear. I don’t sweat heavily, but they last about 6–7 hours on me, though I don’t use them for workouts or outdoor activities. If you tend to sweat a lot, you may want to reapply as needed.

OUAI Deodorant Melrose Place
OUAI Deodorant Melrose Place is an aluminium-free deodorant infused with the Melrose Place fragrance. The fragrance features top notes of champagne, pink peppercorn, berry and lychee, heart notes of peony, rose, freesia, jasmine and bergamot, and base notes of amber, sandalwood, white musk and cedarwood. The scent feels clean and feminine but never overpowering.
The OUAI Deodorant in Melrose Place has almost the same formula as the other versions. It contains a blend of emollients, including coconut oil and shea butter, which soften the skin and improve spreadability. Tapioca starch, magnesium hydroxide and piroctone olamine help absorb excess moisture, support odour control and neutralise odour causing bacteria.
I have sensitive skin, and OUAI deodorants work really well for me. They’re gentle, non-irritating, and don’t break me out, which is something I often experience with aluminium-free deodorants.

The OUAI Deodorant St Barts is an aluminium-free deodorant scented with the St Barts fragrance. The fragrance features top notes of orange oil, ocean breeze accord and dragon fruit, middle notes of orange blossom, sampaguita and tuberose, and base notes of Baltic amber and musk. Honestly, it smells amazing, just like a tropical holiday.
The OUAI Deodorant in St Barts has almost the same formula as the other versions, containing a blend of emollients including coconut oil and shea butter that soften the skin and improve spreadability, while tapioca starch, magnesium hydroxide and piroctone olamine absorb excess moisture, support odour control and neutralise odour-causing bacteria.
The one major downside is the packaging. The edges are quite sharp, and if you don’t twist it up enough, it can actually scratch your skin.
