OSKIA Violet Water Clearing Cleanser Review
This time, I want to share my personal experience with the OSKIA Violet Water Clearing Cleanser. It’s a lightweight non drying cleanser from Oskia’s latest Violet Water Collection. I thoroughly enjoy this range and am really pleased with this product as well. So, I’m excited to provide you with more details about it. Let’s get it started!
This cleanser contains a 2% concentration of BHA, which gently exfoliates and cleanses pores for a clearer, brighter complexion. It also includes a combination of colloidal silver and violet willow extract along with prebiotics to help reduce blemishes and maintain a healthy skin microbiome. The formulation is further enriched with MSM, panthenol (provitamin B5), prickly pear extract, moringa oleifera extract, microalga extract, phytic acid, and lactic acid.
The cleanser features a light, gel-like texture with tiny beads that melt as you rub it in. It develops into a creamy and foamy lather that easily spreads across the face. The scent is slightly medicinal but not overpowering.
For optimal results, it’s more effective to first rub the cleanser between your wet hands, creating a lather, and then apply it to your face. This method activates the purple beads in your hands before you apply it to your face. Though this principle is applicable to all cleansers, it’s preferable to first lather any cleanser in your hands before applying it to your face.
I have thin, combination skin which tends to break out with the arrival of warmer weather and during my period. The OSKIA Violet Water Clearing Cleanser suits my skin beautifully. I use it as a second cleaning stage. This cleanser is gentle and doesn’t dry out my skin, instead, it leaves it looking radiant. After washing, my skin feels thoroughly cleansed without stripping. Though I haven’t seen a major improvement in skin texture, it has reduced the feeling of congestion and helps maintain a balanced skin condition.
The OSKIA Violet Water Clearing Cleanser is designed specifically for blemish-prone or hormonal skin types. It is also suitable for combination and oily skin types or as a cleanser during the warmer months. However, this cleanser might not be the best option for those with dry skin.
All in all, I found OSKIA Violet Water Clearing Cleanser worth the investment. It’s a lovely, gentle gel cleanser that does its job without making my skin feel tight or dry afterward, making it a good product for a morning cleanse or as the second step of an evening double cleanse. Despite my love for trying new products, I would definitely repurchase it in the future.
