Olaplex Weightless Nourishing Mask Review
Hi everyone! I’m excited to bring you a review of the Olaplex Weightless Nourishing Mask, a volumising mask for fine, thin hair that tends to get greasy. I was instantly hooked on this product from the very first day. Let me tell you more about my experience below.
The formula contains a blend of conditioning agents, anti-static agents, polymers, and silicone-based polymers to smooth the hair and hydrate dry strands, providing anti-static, anti-frizz, and detangling benefits. A blend of shea butter, coconut oil, and rosehip oil also helps to soften the hair, while Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate (the main patented ingredient in Olaplex) works to repair broken bonds for stronger hair. Additionally, a blend of polyglutamic acid, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, lactobacillus ferment, glucomannan, arginine, lactic acid, sodium lactate, sorbitol, rice bran extract, sunflower extract, and gac fruit conditions the hair and provides antioxidant protection.
The Olaplex Weightless Nourishing Mask has a creamy, almost whipped texture. It spreads easily through the hair and helps to melt away knots and tangles. It feels almost weightless once applied, and I only need a small amount to coat my hair, so a little goes a long way. The mask rinses out easily without leaving any residue. It also features the signature Olaplex scent, which is fresh, citrusy, and overall, very pleasant.
TBH, I didn’t expect to love this mask as much as I do. It makes my hair incredibly smooth, easier to style, softer, and noticeably less frizzy, without weighing it down or making it greasy. It only needs a few minutes in the shower to work, and the texture is light enough to keep the hair bouncy while still delivering real moisture and shine. This is the best mask for fine hair that I’ve tried this year.
The Olaplex Weightless Volumising Hydration Hair Mask is absolutely amazing. I think I prefer it over Olaplex No. 8, and I’m planning to repurchase it during Black Friday. If you, like me, enjoy Olaplex products, this mask is definitely worth checking out.
